Description

I was contacted on Twitter by a person who said her name was Brittney Oliver (@britoliver026) in November 2023, she seemed legitimate, says she lives in Bozeman, MT. We talked for three months, I have transcripts of our DM's. She said she was a Crypto pioneer and her company had a new way to make incredible returns mining Crypto. They offered three plans. I debated with her for months, finally I decided I would risk $1000, my bank is USAA, I had them set up a way to transfer that amount to Crypto.com which is what Brittney kept insisting was the only way to make the transaction, once that method was set up I sent the money to Crypto.com, converted it to Bitcoin and transferred it to her company's website, 365hashost.com. Then began 12 days of mining at the end of which I had $50,282.78 in profit. They were supposed to issue me a certificate of withdrawal, their commission was 17.9%, which I assumed they'd take out of the profit. But, no, they insisted I had to pay them $9,000.61 more to be able to access my profit and withdraw it. I refused to do that. I talked with Brittney through DM many times, then had a conversation with their site's support (who did NOT sound like a native speaker) who just referred me back to Brittney (who has also a couple times said things that made me suspicious she was NOT a native speaker either, let alone a psychology graduate as she claimed) who would not budge from the position she stated. I told her the only way I could pay them that amount was if they released my "profits" or enough of it, to allow me to do that. She said that was against blockchain rules, whatever they are, and company procedure and would not budge from that position. I checked the website, it was created in October 2022, sketchy details on it though it "looks" legitimate. Thing is, her picture is a young woman, she follows some people, but the Twitter account was created in 2012 (just noticed that when I reported her to Twitter) and she doesn't look old enough to have been able to do that then. Given the amount of tweets, I suspect someone has taken over a fallow account - that happens a lot on Twitter where I got LOTS of DMs from "young Asian women" all of whom want to be friends, don't care I'm 73 years old, and all of whom I block. I created a Word document and copied all of Brittney's direct messages, my questions, her responses. I have copies of a "contract" they sent me after I made my deposit, allegedly written by an attorney but it is so poorly worded, no attorney would ever create such a thing. I've copies of the Certificate of Mining and Withdrawal Permit. I tried to look at the website today and found I was "Error! You account have been blocked by admin!". I imagine because I refused to give them more money. I know the $1000 I invested, the investment was less due to Crypto.com fees and there's a tiny bit of money there, but you have to have $100 to withdraw from that site and I will just let that go too, is likely lost forever. But I do have the address that I sent the money to: bc1qpt0mknwf6s05wm6grw8vuegd9vfcs4pcu2lcrk I also have copies of daily reports they sent me with each days results, 987.55 invested, allegedly returned $50,282.78 in profit in 12 days. I also have their demand for payment to release the funds. I think that website should be investigate and taken down. Whois does not have much information on the company nor the hosting domain. I can provide copies of everything at your request. This is a crime against a senior citizen. I'm a Vietnam veteran, been retired since 12/30/18, live on a pension and social security. Thanks for any help you can provide even if it is only to stop these people. I know she is active, she told me about other clients and online meetings. I have reported her to Twitter and the FCC and the Minnesota State AG's office who suggested I report this to you. You have my permission to share any or all of this with the FBI or any agency you choose.
