This originally began back in 11/11/2021 when my PC froze and I got a pop-up message saying my PC was infected with spyware and I had to call FlyBitsIPSecurity.com at 1-888-651-2979 to have my HD/Apps cleaned by https://flybitsipsecurity.com, 5470 Kietzke Lane, Ste. 300, Reno, NV 89511. I called and spoke to a male named David. They said they could remove the spyware with a lifetime security support for $1,300 that they had to scan my check on my connected printer which they did. by installing their software and contact phone number. I kept track of my bank checking account but did not find any such deduction unless they perhaps put my information on the Dark Web. The customer support phone numbers included 855-651-2979, 855-559-4210 and 855-561-1155. "David" kept trying to call me up through 2022 but I refused to return his call. Moving to late May 2023. I got a pop-up message saying if I wanted to report my PC running slow to Microsoft? I clicked Yes. On Wednesday, 06/14/23, I got a call from "Eddie Brown" from (321) 445-1766, saying he was a Microsoft "escalation support specialist" responding to my request for help with my PC. He had all the correct information on me and even my Mircrosoft login information, so I thought he was legitimate. He directed me to "www.ultraviewer.net" to get access to my PC and my authorization to work on my PC .He then showed over 38,000 error/warning attempts on my PC that has been slowing my PC down and it may take 16-24 hours to clean it out. Eddie said he would then install software from MSoft247 "lifelock" software with Microsoft Windows Security (for internal protection for $399..81), Anti-Malware Tool (for external protection for $648.51) and tax of $72.38 for a total of $1,121.70 charged to my PayPal account on "Invoice #MSTA-2292." and it would show up as a charge made by "Telcro Technologies." He stated I would not need any other software protection program because it would also cover any devices cell hones, laptops, that access my Google and Yahoo accounts. Eddie also had asked about the previous installed software from FlybitsIPsecurity.com that had installed icons on my home screen. He would deleted that also and asked my authorization to install the two MSoft247 programs and later deleted my McAfee anti-virus but he could not remove that one but did rid of the Malwarebytes program. He went through all of my installed apps during the "cleanup" and said he did not need to scan any of my documents files since he said viruses are not found there, only on the apps. After leaving me PC on during the 16-24 cleanup, he called me at least 5-6 times to give a status update. He said not to call the original number that I was asked to call, which was (321) 445-1766, and that number would go away and no longer work and to now call him on (321) 445-1718 for Windows Support and email at "[email protected]." He said if I experienced any problems after the install to contact him at the number and email he gave above. When I logged-in on Friday, 06/16/23, I noticed my PC was still working slow and saw my home screen flashing on-and-off while logging-in. It then hit me that I got scammed and I searched for help online and found your web site to report this matter. I don't know how I'll get rid of their software or to protect my bank accounts from being hacked or put on the Dark Web. Who can help me restore if at all possible and do I need to call my banks and change all of my bank accounts?
