Austin Tierno from JVT Advisors emailed me about sending in my resume to a government company, GDIT. He said I seemed like a good fit so I sent him my resume and he revamped it then sent it to GDIT to consider. I did an interview for them with on zoom with two recruiters from GDIT. Austin was the middle man for communication between me and GDIT. After the interview, Austin called and said the ladies thought the interview was good. He said the next steps would be to complete a background check. He said I needed my brith certificate. I sent him a copy of my original birth certificate. After that, there was zero communication from Austin and JVT Advisors as well as GDIT. I tried emailing a few times and no response. Basically they all ghosted me after sending my birth certificate. I looked up their reviews on Google and plenty of other people had the same experience: JVT ghosted them after a job offer. Because of that I am convinced they are scammers trying to steal personal information from job seekers. If they are not scammers, they certainly have bad business ethics and shouldn't be in business if this is how they handle clients.
