Ive been receiving both threatening and harassing text messages and calls from ARS National. Ive never communicated with this company and initiating text messages fully disclosing the name and account information of an individual is a violation of FDCPA. If I continue receiving these calls and texts Ill be submitting a claim to the **** and seeking a consulting with an attorney. Also ARS National threatened to sue me via written communication this is also illegal if they dont have intent to do so. I looked up and cant find any lawsuits from them in my state.

Same as below some d*** named ************************* left a distressing message on my phone. I did not pick up, I deleted the message and then blocked the caller I am sure I will need to deal with this for months after my debt free father passed.

They called me and did not say clearly, the only thing I understood from him was are debt collection. he said his name, I could NOT even tell you what name it was. Then he just kept talking and would NOT listen to any word that I tried to say, he just kept talking. I said you do not want to listen then I am not going to talk to you. I wrote to them on their page and told them if they wanted to contact me then do it through my email. Now I am hearing things, (do not know if this is true although it is being said by a LOT of people, companies also) saying that ARS collections does things illegal and unethical in order to get money from you. If that is true then someone should check into the way they do business. It was too bad that I had to select one star, they do not deserve that much credit.

12/20/2023 Are National Services **** will not disclose the Names , phone numbers of their legal representative. What are they afraid of? Their Customer Review Rating is as low as you can get. Either the Better Business Bureau has been corrupted or else it's taking bribes from business to get favorable ratings.

Got a call from ************ yesterday and couldn't answer because I was at work. Today the number called my husband and when he called back to see who it was and what it was about they asked for me. She said she didn't like all the "questions" he was asking. SHE called him. He had a right to know who it was. He told me to call them and as soon as my number popped up for them they said "oh your husband called and was very rude" I told them that they called him first and then wouldn't answer who they were. They didn't state who they were or what it was about to me either. Just wanted me to verify personal info. They told me about some bill I needed to pay from 2015 from a loan that I told them was sold two other times to other debt collectors and was closed. They said they would drop it, we shall see. Very fishy. I don't appreciate them harassing my family members, who will they call next?

This company calls me almost every day, thinking I'm the person who used to have my number. I have asked them to stop and blocked them but they keep calling. They never leave messages, nor do they pick up when I answer a call. I don't know how a company this unprofessional gets an A+ rating.

These people are constantly calling and harassing me over an alleged debt of a relative. They have disclosed this information and illegally. They call and bully. The last person told me to go get drunk and chill. I e requested they no longer call my number, but they dont care and continue to do so. So unprofessional. Funny thing is, its always from a different phone number local to my area, never a ********** number. They recently left a message saying a decision had been made on my behalf. Great. Im glad because I dont owe anything. And Im 100% sure my relative doesnt either. These guys are losers and scum.

Summary - This appears to be a debt collection agency that utilizes underhanded, shady, and potentially illegal methods to obtain information and collect debt, including calling family of a deceased person. NOT OK.They called me today asking for a different family member...one who passed away months ago. All I asked for was two things:1. What kind of company they are?2. How they got my number?Answer for Question 1 - Their answer to what kind of company was just to repeat their name and to look them up. I'm struggling to understand why a company cannot tell me what kind of business they do. I can look them up very easily, but if this is illegal or a scam, I have a REAL problem with them calling, especially since the family member passed away months ago. They could only tell me that they handle "Private Business Matters". Answer for Question 2 - The person slipped up slightly and spoke about a partner company, so I was able to determine that ARS is a 3rd party business. However, they would not tell me how my number was obtained, why its being used, and how it was associated with this family member. For reference, the number (and I) has NEVER been associated with any address related to my family member. I asked the initial person for their supervisor since they were not helpful. The supervisor parroted the responses the initial person gave so I asked for their manager. After a lot of hemming and hawing, and being placed on hold several times, I finally got the name of their manager. I asked what their title was, but they outright refused to provide that.Maybe not a scam, but definitely harassment level material and shady/underhanded tactics.
