I can’t thank Doug enough for all the positivity and encouragement he has given me. He is always there to answer any questions I may have. Always there to help. AAOMCP is a wonderful resourceful apprentice program. If you’re looking for an apprenticeship program, to gain experience and more knowledge, I highly recommend AAOMCP.

I have been looking for a mentor or apprenticeship since I got my CPC certification. I just want to say I am so happy I found this program. Doug has been very helpful. He is always available and answers all my questions in a clear and concise manner. Now I feel more confident in medical coding and excited to join the other programs he has. I have worked with AAOMCP for many years for CEU's. I'm now taking Doug's Coding Apprenticeship Program. It's been a great learning experience so far. Doug is always available for questions, and he is very helpful. Highly recommended any program AAOMCP offers. I found a AOMPC on ******** one day. I decided to click on the link and seriously scour the website. I was very impressed by the information on the website. I decided to join because I was tired of applying for job after job after job without any success. Doug called me soon after I signed up through the website and introduced himself and said something that I will never forget, which was: “I have been fortunate to have really good Medical Coding mentors and I just want to pass it on to others.” Wow! I just recently applied for a job, five months into my internship, by the encouragement of Doug who reviewed my résumé with me, gave me pointers, advice, and a letter of reference pertaining to my coding skills. I attribute this directly to my being hired by a hospital, and I am a medical coder with no on the job coding experience aside from this internship. I found Doug to be committed, encouraging, caring, a true mentor in every sense of the word and I would not send anybody interested in coding or an internship to anybody else but Doug !!!American Association Of Medical Coding Professionals LLC Response

Doug at AAOMCP was terrific! I came across the AAOMCP website on ******** and saw that they had a Boot Camp for Risk Adjustment Coding. I already had my CRC, I just needed to refresh. Doug offered to set up a Zoom meeting with me the next week to review. After finding out I had an interview coming up, he then offered to do a Mock Interview with me. That was very helpful, because he gave me tips on my interviewing skills. The next day, I had my "real" interview and I felt it went great. Apparently, I did so good, that I was offered the position. I have learned a lot through the AAOMCP programs that have been created by Doug. He is patient, and is very supportive in helping us understand the complexities of Medical Coding. His programs are very easy to follow, and very informative with up to date information, and very reasonably priced. Doug is always available and willing to help answer questions. With his years of experience he has gained a lot of wisdom and a wealth knowledge in all aspects of the coding industry.
