    I purchase a warranty from Auto Protect USA in September 2023 and paid in over $1,700 before filling a claim with them to repair my 2016 Buick Lacrosse in June 2024. What I receive is a runaround in trying to avoid paying for the repairs including having to wait 2 weeks for their representative to visit the Buick dealership to inspect the car for repairs. I was left without a car for this period with no vehicle. As a result I cancelled the warranty and requested a refund. I called a number of time being told that they were processing my refund but didn’t receive it until January 27, 2025. They refunded approximately 1/2 of the total I had paid in. When I called about the amount they stated that was the amount I was entitled to. So bottom line is I paid $730. 82 to make them richer while getting nothing in return. I have seen a number of complaints similar to mine and wish at BBB and wish I had read them before purchasing the warrant. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PURCHASE A WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY.     Stay away from this company! Shame on me for not doing my research before agreeing to drop my ********* extended warranty, for falling for AutoProtect USA's shady sales tactics, and for failing to read the fine print of the contract. They were quick to take my money (to the tune of $3400), but when my 2022 VW Atlas broke down from a failed oil distributor at 76K miles, my claim was denied, indicating that the part is not covered (and the wait for a claim can exceed 24 or even 48 hours). Really, a critical engine component not covered?!! So, I'll be forced to pay $1,200 out of pocket for the repairs. In addition, they insist on using their own parts, and not authentic manufacturer parts which I would never agree to. Hard ****** learned! My $3400 investment got me a $0 return, and it's the first time I've ever had to make an extended warranty claim in over 40 years. So, I'll be making a personal campaign to get the public to steer well clear of AutoProtect USA. Complete waste of money!

    BEWARE!!! This is the worst warranty company in the market. My car has a check engine light and took to the maker ******* to get it checked out and they fixed it. When I back home, the check engine light came back so ***** they told me to drive it back and they will diagnose it. I did exactly that. They told me what needed to get fixed after and so I called this company to see what could be done. They told me since I drove it there, theres nothing they could do but the car maker had told me driving it there.It was fine by me that they wouldnt cover me but I requested to get my money since I didnt receive any service from them. Was told I would get my prorated rate back but havent seen a single cent. It has been over 12 weeks and they keep jerking me around to send me my money back.They will find a reason not to cover you and also keep your money. Please be aware of this!

    For further resolution of your claim, we recommend contacting MotoAssure directly. They handle claims and oversee their customer service department. The adjuster from MotoAssure communicated with your repair technicians, and it was MotoAssure, not Auto Protect USA, that denied the claim for continued use.

    This company does not do prudent research. The are sending continous mailing soliciting business from a deceased person. They do not update data base and are rude customer service. If this company has to solicit deceased pepole for business, along with disrespecting family by continuing mailings, how can this be a reputable company. This company should not be taken seriously.

    AutoprotectUSA has to be the worst vehicle warranty Ive ever seen. Horrible customer service. They are very quick to take your money and when you need the service that you paid for they will give you all types of excuses to not cover you and delay the process. Ive had my vehicle sitting at the dealer for approximately 3 weeks waiting for this company to process the claim so that the dealer can start working on my vehicle. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. Dont fall for it. Look somewhere else for better service and better warranty for your vehicle.
