I was contacted by *** who is the co-owner for Patriot auto sales he is also the owner of a ************** called low ballers after he seen me post one of my jeeps for sale. He offered to put me in a 2016 Prius which I declined as it was only fwd and I needed at least AWD. I had for a 2014 Yukon priced at 9k and he said ok I can get you into this so as I was getting a $500 down payment together which required me to sell my only running vehicle. When I got it the next day *** had beat around the **** on me paying it and after he told me it was mine he text me at the last minute the day before to try telling me that when they went to move this Yukon they didn't warm it up and the heads blew, now come on I am very mechanically inclined as well as knowledgeable in regards to the shady scams these fly by night shops do and I knew he had sold the Yukon to someone who walked in with cash. So again I picked a different vehicle which was a ****** priced 2015 ****** outback with a reconstructed title for $12,999 this was after he refused to sell me another Yukon that they had for $13,999 claiming it needs to book high but low. After renting a truck and waiting for almost a week for this car to be ready to pick up I rented a truck and drove 3 1/2 hr to pick it up only to see that I had been lied to and scammed. The car had not been to the detailers as there was also a little container with white powder in the center console as well as filthy and dirty. The tire pressure light was on. The passenger side headlight was out and when I brought it to there attention *** said he'd give me a refund and his attitude about these issues being brought to there attention was rude and combative. Then a man named **** proceeded to cuss me out when I stated these problems and trespassed me. So I left with no car and then stealing my full down payment. This store needs shut down and they are 100% against veterans and there families

All deposits are non-refundable and this was explained to you, as a credit challenged individual, you cannot purchase a car without a locator which has been installed in the vehicle.

If you want to forfeit your deposit because there was  allegedly a piece of dirty Tupperware in the back seat- that is your choice.

The decision is yours, and for the record we refunded $210 even though the $500 was nonrefundable we did this to help you and had no obligation to do so.

Check your credit card statement, I hope you find a better way to leverage your time in the future.

As of now you still have the option to purchase the vehicle under the terms that were initially agreed to. IF you are going to conintue to lie and waste peoples time, do it away from here. Otherwise feel free to call and complete the deal. No hard feelings either way-

I am rejecting this response because:

In the messages between *** and I he is claiming the locator was $250 that he was paying for not me. Even offered to pay it but he said no just the $500 down payment which was paid. He then said he would refund me after I test drove the car and there were issues I brought to his attention and he wouldn't allow me to get any other vehicle as he said I had full approval. I don't understand why he didn't go through ****************** since I was already pre-qualified by them. Instead *********************** with **** near 35% interest.

I would buy the Yukon that I wanted when the ****** didn't work out but still *** didn't want to work on any other vehicle.

I spent over $200 in a rental vehicle and gas and getting my friend to take off a day of work for this and all I got was disappotment.

    Sincerely,

********, check your cc statement you were refunded more than owed.

Your boyfriend tried to pick up your car using a POA, I'm sorry but that wont work for the bank. If you want to buy the car you must come in person and sign up with the bank.

This is out of my hands at this point. You have been refunded but you are still sending people to pick up a car you have not signed for. This behavior makes no sense to us.

I am rejecting this response because: 1st off I did send messages asking about that as I didn't like your threatening cussing at me the last time I was there so I attempted to do it this way. And all you had to say was no the bank won't do a poa so I asked about DocuSign which I got no response which is typical with you. The locator does not cost $280 it was $200 as you stated and you said u were paying for it not me. So no I was not refunded the full $497 that I paid and you said you would refund. You did not say anything about me paying for a locator on the car that you lied to me about at ll you said that once I came in to get the refund and you got mad because I wasn't taking to POS because you didn't keep your end of the bargain as stated so then you said I had to pay for the locator not ok I didn't sign nothing stating I would buy for it. This is auto dealer fraud and no it's not ok to take advantage of a disabled person as you have. The disrespect that you have toward veterans is also appealing. So please save your excuses for someone who will fall for your fraud. Kinda funny your business licenses have constantly been changed due to auto dealer fraud allegations. I will take this one down if that is the route you would like to go. I have no taken food out of your kids mouth as you claim I have. You have done that on your own with your fraudulent ways. You have a wonderful day good riddance and goodbye.

    Sincerely,

    *****************************

******** at this point it sounds like you are blackmailing us because you can't get yourself to the dealership in person to sign for the car and you want us to give you more money that is not owed to you.

Your only option is to show up in person and reapply the money down to the deal.

I think you are taking out your personal problems on a business that has done nothing but try to help you.

Like I said you are welcome to call me or come by and start fresh and buy the car.

I never recieved that last response. If i was trying to blackmail you then i would, but it is looking as though this is a common problem patriot auto is doing reading complaints against you. So i guess at this point i need to take this matter to the attorney general as i also have other car dealerships back me up against **************** fraud. Maybe one day youll learn not to rip off your customers. Why do i or anyone wanna buy a vehicle that was not as described? Nobody in there right mind would. The fct that you took advantage of a disabled person on a fixed income is beyond me. I think i will need to bring the disability las firm into this problem as well. Im sorry you guys dont know how to treat customers and not discriminate them for there low income due to a disability i do believe that is against federal there but id have to look up that law to be sure

On December 9th, 2022 my 2008 Cadillac Escalade was stolen off the side of ********* and raspberry in Amchorage AK. I reported my vehicle to local authorities on Decemeber 17th 2022. On January 26th, 2023, I found my vehicle being resold by patriot auto under a different vin but had at the very least my bumper attached to it. Patriot auto was confronted by myself on Jaunary 28th, 2023 at which time ***(owner) called the police telling them I was a crazy intoxicated person. I called 311 reporting that I had found my stolen vehicle. Police officers did not respond to the location however did call me by phone. I have strong evidence that it is my vehicle. Patriot auto stole my vehicle and either are reselling it under another vin number which they have the means to change those things or they have knowledge of where my vehicle went. This is also where I bought my Cadillac from in October 2020 and had paid it off in full by May 2021. No monies are owed towards the vehicle. I have photo proof that at the very least the bumper from my car has been attached to this "2007 Cadillac Escalade" mind you that has been junked and sold as a parts car only from ****** auctions three years prior. My 2008 Cadillac escalade is not the only 2008 Cadillac that was stolen around the same time as mine. Another ******************************************************** december 2022. I believe that Patriot auto is running some kind of illegal chop shop.

We did not steal your vehicle and in fact we suggested that you contact law enforcement about the theft of your vehicle. We have legally purchased every vehicle on our lot and have the paperwork to disprove your baseless allegation. Next time you have a vehicle, we suggest you have your insurance on autopay so that your insurance doesn't lapse.
