    I am a tenant who moved out of West & Wright Apartment in 2023, and the apartment should have refunded me $795.68, but I have not received it yet.

    ******s refund has been successfully processed and received, please see attached email thread and screenshot in reference to payment being received. This was the third attempt to send ***** this refund before actually receiving payment, as the initial forwarding address given by ***** was incorrect resulting in the check not being received. The second check was never received, according to *****, and my accounting department did a stop payment for this. A third attempt was made and a new check was sent to the address provided by ***** with a tracking number and this payment was finally received on 11/9/24. Please note, ***** moved out in July 2023 and did not follow up with the request on the payment until July 2024. These refunds are not made here on site at West and Wright and have to be processed by our corporate accounting team at our home office and is subject to take up to 30 days to process.

    The apartment complex where our sons reside for this current school year poses various unsanitary and dangerous living conditions. They took occupancy ******* at which time we immediately requested attention to some of these issues and have yet to see resolution for any of the items listed. E.g.- vomit stains throughout building carpeting, soiled upholstered furniture, frequently over spilling trash shoots into hallways on each floor (multi-story building), fuse blown on refrigerator in their unit resulting in all perishable food spoiling, frequently non-functioning elevators, multiple fire alarms, etc. The unit was not cleaned before move in (we found several clothing and personal items in my sons rooms), and the dishwasher is full of rust. This has crossed from a disappointing experience to unsafe/unhealthy. We are paying over $1500/mo for our two sons combined for this unit and it's unacceptable and unsafe. We were told when we toured in March 2022 the carpeting would be replaced before move in and we were shown units in much better condition, we never would've signed a lease under these living conditions.
