Awful moving company- they never ever answer the phone. I made a cross state move, was quoted one price and when the movers showed up it was almost triple with all these added charges. I was told my delivery date would be one day, but they never picked up the phone to confirm. Turns out, my delivery was not going to be on or around that date (though I told them it was imperative I received my items by a certain date- and they had well over 3 weeks to plan for that date considering my items were in storage). When I finally received my items, everything was broken, the drivers threatened me by forcing me to pay an additional 200 dollars for an elevator charge or they would not deliver the rest of my stuff and would leave with it (extortion). The drivers for delivery were rude, yelled at me, cursed me out and virtually harassed me by calling me 19x in a row because they left paperwork in the apartment and I had stepped out. When I came back, they were waiting for me in the lobby, which was scary. On top of all that, all of my broken stuff, they left my apartment a mess by keeping all of their dirty moving blankets in my apartment and kept throwing around my stuff (glass) when it was broken, which lead to glass being all over the place. I have been trying to call them to file a claim, and I submitted the items and they had told me, we did not have full replacement insurance- but when they sent the paperwork, it looks like my name was crossed out from full replacement and we were then told we had to initial on the below for the added insurance but it was really waiving insurance. They did an awful job at explaining the paperwork, and had crossed our names off of full replacement insurance while also insuring all of our items were replaceable under the insurance we had picked.Initial Complaint

Complaint Against: Insta Movers ****Date of Move: June 14, 2024 Move From: *************, ** Move To: ***************, ** Complaint Details:I am writing to formally file a complaint against Insta Movers **** for the unacceptable service I received during my move from *************, **, to ***************, **, on June 14, 2024.Overcharging:Before the move, I was given a written quote by Insta Movers **** for the total cost of the move. However, upon completion of the move, I was charged a significantly higher amount than what was originally quoted. The final bill included charges that were not previously discussed or agreed upon. This bait-and-switch tactic is unethical and unacceptable.Damaged Furniture:Several of my furniture items arrived at my new home damaged. These items were in good condition before the move, and the damage clearly occurred during transportation. Despite packing some items myself and trusting the movers to handle others with care, I was disappointed to find scratches, dents, and broken parts on multiple pieces of furniture. This has caused me considerable stress and financial loss.Hidden Fees:In addition to the overcharging, I was also subjected to hidden fees that were never disclosed at any point during the booking process. These fees were only brought to my attention when it was time to pay the final bill, leaving me with no choice but to pay them in order to retrieve my belongings. The lack of transparency regarding these fees is highly unprofessional.I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Insta Movers **** This experience has been stressful, financially burdensome, and has caused damage to my personal property. Please contact us directly. We do not steal anyone's items and actually keep people's stuff even if they have not paid storages for months on end. In regards to someone passing during the moving process, there are legal necessary measures that we must follow and abide by. I contracted with a company called relocation nation, and they gave this job to Insta Movers. On March 29, 2023, Insta Movers picked up our furniture in *******. We did not ask for it to be stored and wished to have it delivered as soon as possible. It is now May 4 and they have not delivered our furniture and no one can tell me where it is, and when it will be delivered. I have placed numerous phone calls and they tell me they will get back to me but no one ever calls back. I received one email(see attached) that said it was being loaded onto a truck but that was more than two weeks ago and we still have no information about when it will be delivered , we have paid them substantial money and I have a check to pay them the balance when they arrive. I am worried that they have lost or stolen our furniture and belongings. No one can tell me where its located and they keep giving me the runaround, my only wish is for this furniture to be delivered as soon as possible , I am 71 years old and have been living in my house with minimal furniture now for well over a month.Initial Complaint

On June 22, 2022, we retained Insta-Movers (Order No. QB6272776) to pack and move our possessions from **********, ** to Chatsworth, **. We were told that our total charge would be $21,138.28. But once they had possession of our property, we were forced to pay them an additional $8,94001 totaling $30,078.36 in order for them to deliver our possessions to ** in Chatworth, **. We also had to wait a month to receive our possessions. As we were unpacking, we noticed that there were many broken/damaged items e.g., 65' TV, Standalone Bar. (2) ******************* 3 Drawer File Cabinet and many of the boxes were crushed and some with water damage to the contents. We addressed these issues and more, on October 18, 2022, by letter directly to *************************, CEO. **************, nor anyone else from Inst-Movers ever responded. We have been harmed by Insta-Movers and feel that they should compensate us for the excess charges and pay for the damages they did to our property.Initial Complaint

Contacted All Moving USA, **** * ******* ***** ** ***** **** **** ***** ** *****, DOT *******, MC ****** asked specifically if they were a broker. Spoke specifically to ****** (would not release last name) phone ************ x *** cell *** *** **** (disconnected now). Told me 4 times I was not dealing with a broker. They handle multiple carriers. They are a broker. Deposit of 2218.80 based on the weight of my count of number of boxes. Informed ****** I was not finish packing. Gave her the pick up date of June 15, 2022. Deposit that was placed was 2960.51 via credit card, remaining balance would be due when logistics calls me for whatever reason that is and the balance will be 3060.40. Never received a receipt via email for this amount of money which was also placed on a credit card. Turned over to Insta movers based out of ********** AL. With a 7-14 business day delay. Those 14 days are up as of July 8th. The logistics department at Insta Movers as yet to call me. I was informed by ****** and ******* multiple trucks going to Texas. I am still to this very day NOT SCHEDULED on any truck. Insta Movers stated they were to load my truck on July 10th 2022, called July 11th, not loaded. Called Tuesday still waiting on a truck going to Texas. Called July 15th. Now I am being told they will not have a truck until the weekend of July 22 or 23. The broker services called Insta Movers today, but I have yet to talk to them. I sent a text message to All Moving USA (copied/pasted below) last night. Well ******* it did not load July 10th. Being told by ****** it is loading next Friday or Saturday, July 22 or 23, 2022. Today is July 15th, 2022. This has now become a medical issue. It is a medical necessity. It is imperative someone from logistics/ dispatch contact me, asap. I firmly something is terribly wrong. There are items that Insta Movers have in their possession that my 95 yr old Mother needs. We do greatly apologize for the extended time that it is taking us to get your mother's household good items delivered to her. Unfortunately, we have had some issues that have caused us to have a delay on your delivery. We have had two trucks break down that were projected to be loaded for your area, hence why you were scheduled to be loaded but it has changed. We understand that it is frustrating when our logistics is not working out in any of our favor. We will owe you a reimbursement for late delivery and you will receive that upon delivery since it is accrued by how many days we are late delivering your items. I apologize that our unfortunate occurrence to our trucks have caused major delays to our deliveries. We are working diligently and are still on schedule to have your items actually loaded onto our delivery truck on 21st or 22nd but we will notify you the same second that we are given any type of update.
We would like to stay in touch with you, as we have been doing so, and rest assured that you will be notified about the loading of the household goods the same exact second our office is notified.

I am rejecting this response because:I do not believe anything this company or All Moving USA is stating. It has been nothing short of a nightmare from day one. Supposed to have been one truck, ended up two trucks, two days to load, and price changed. Insta movers supposedly took belonging too Citizens Storage in ***** ****** MS. Both locations have no records on or about the date of June 15 to June 18, 2022 of any storage unit being rented from Insta Movers? Where are my belongings? Requested pictures of ATV and kayak, no one could supply them to me. I am making sure no one has stolen any items! I need medical supplies on that truck!! The reason I wanted pictures; one of the reviews stated this companies loaders/unloaders stole a whole baby bedroom suite. Damages to people goods AWFUL, boxes torn open people ram sacking everything according to reviews. No one returning phone calls, no real person to talk too in logistics department, the reviews from the last two years are horrific, the lies and twisting of stories and the scamming of money. I was told on July 8th truck would be loaded on July 10th. I was also told by ****** and *******, there were multiple trucks going to Texas!!!!
I have been told since July 8, Our items were been loaded 3 times!!!! Lies all lies. I need this truck because of medical supplies!!!! Insta Movers knows this!! I am a caretaker! This is a medical necessity!!! The reason for rejecting this response from Insta movers; we shall see IF THERE IS TRULY A TRUCK ON 07/20 OR 07/21/22. If it changes again, I will be back in touch with the BBB of Alabama, DOT, and I will take this to the ********** Alabama legal authority. I will not play for 2 to 4 months like other unfortunate people have. This is wrong! I do expect a reimbursement from All Moving USA, as it was a lie from their facility, also. This is the broker firm that SWEARS they are not a broker according to ****** (no last name)! I will go after All Moving USA for partial reimbursement, of the 5000.00 + I have given them!
