My wife and I bought a Toyota Camry from Serra Toyota about 12 years ago and we were told the cars engine, transmission and rear end was covered under a lifetime warranty for as long as we own the vehicle. We had an over heating problem and took it to the service department and they charged us a little over $1500 for a radiator and a belt tensioner pulley. We paid and we had the car for four or five days and it started overheating again. We took it back and now they are saying its not going to be covered under the warranty because its damaged. Well the engine is supposed to be under warranty as long as we own it but now they dont want to honor the warranty that I thought we were paying for and I feel like we were lied to about the warranty. They are still refusing to replace or repair the engine

Hello Absolutely the worse experience ever Scheduled an appointment went in and was told by the salesperson that I could use my car as a down payment well that was a complete lie my credit was ran multiple times and I was there for almost 8 hours and the salesman telling me that my car was not worth a dollar but he was offering **** as a favor but I would need an additional down payment amount of **** and they wanted to sign for a car that was in Decatur but I could drive another car off the lot and come back the next day to get the car coming from Decatur with an additional 899 for bringing the car That was on December then on January another person called asking why I did not purchase a car and I explained to him the absolute chaotic situation he told me that he would find a car and call me back Serra Toyota is a pure joke to be honest. Please do not sign anything unless to read everything because sone of the sales people are absolute grifters and dishonest I like all the unnecessary credit inquiries removed from because I didnt give any signed permission or did I even test drive a car.The only thing that happened was the salesman trying to guilt me into buying a car that I didnt want and refusing to show cheaper cars that were in the lot The experience was Trash and they wasted my time

My sister and I went to an appointment to look at a specific used car. The morning of the scheduled appointment my nephew confirmed with sales lady that the car was on the lot. Upon arrival we were informed that the car was now in Decatur. But they had another car (unacceptable color) with the same model and specifications. My sister asked them to evaluate her car trade in value to which they were given the keys to make their assessment. The appointment became uncomfortable and even a low level of confrontational, and they refused to return her keys despite repeated demands. My sister is elderly and while I was out of the room they proceeded to ask her financial questions that I later discovered were not even relevant to a financial application. Upon my return I asked why the need for financial questions on a cash pay transaction? I was told this was standard procedure merely to identify the person. They even went so far as to try to get her to sign a contract on a car that she neither wanted nor had seen. They don’t even deserve the 1star rating (minimum) that I gave here. STAY AWAY!!!!

I scheduled an appointment for a rear end rebuild for my mom's 2014 Tundra. My mom and sister dropped off the truck. Service writer Tom told me I had to pay for the parts upfront which was about $2500, so of course I paid. Tom calls and says the techs and he couldn't find the wheel lock key. I called mom, she says it's in the driver's door pocket. Called Tom back and while on the phone, Tom and his techs confirmed that the key was not there or anywhere else in the truck. They wanted to cut off the studs and will replace them. I trusted that Tom and his techs knew what a wheel lock is. So, I told to proceed with the job. I picked up the truck a couple weeks later right before they closed and paid the other $2500. I forgot about the wheel lock situation and did not check for the wheel lock key. I drive it to my house and called mom so she can pick it up at her convenience. She asked if the key was in the door pocket, sure enough it was there. I called Tom but they were closed. I call Tome the next day, he said he'd check with the tech, I don't understand his reasoning for that answer. But I figured, I'll be patient. The following week, I was in saginaw and stopped by to talk with Tom, he said the tech wasn't in and he couldn't talk to the tech last week. So, once again I gave him the benefit of the doubt and left. I called the following week and left a message for Tom, no reply. So, I called Kari, customer relations a few days later. She had the service manager call me back. The service manager basically says she can't help and gave me the number to the dealer manager Tate. I call him and he finally agrees to refund half for the studs and lugs, which was $80. After spending $5k, he could only refund $80, says that's all he can do. But we have yet to see the check. It's been a few months now. I bought a brand new 2014 tundra from Steve at Serra too, but after this I am not spending another penny or will be sending anyone else their way. Wished there was a no star optio

Was trying to purchase a used car, well they up the price a little over $******* dollars on me and lowered my credit rating. Needless to say I wasn't able to get the used car. Really don't think there fair.
