I am speechless and do not know if I should cry or laugh or upset. One star is too much for the company. I should have paid attentions to other fellows' comments more seriously.

Bear with me the pains. I was quoted $****, and a two-men crew came and move some branches around and said that other equipment were needed. Then after 3 re-schedules, one month+ after, a larger crew of about 8 people finally arrived and said $**** is needed, just for part of work. Then the work was canceled.

They left deep truck tire marks on lawn, and with the dismantled fence, and left without a word.

My experience with Eastern Tree Services, and their owner Robert Y****, is the worst experience that I have had with a contractor in my 55 years as a homeowner. It started on November 30, 2021, when I contracted with Eastern Tree to have 6 trees removed from my property for $*****. They arrived to do the work on January 4, 2022. Over the following weeks they did over $***** of damage to my home and property.
They used a Bobcat to remove small trees from my back yard rather than drag them from the yard to the curbside. The Bobcat broke several of our steppingstones and tore up the sod leaving 4-inch ruts in places. This resulted in me having to replace 250 yards of sod at a cost of $*****
As they were removing a tree with the aid of a boom truck, they dropped a limb through my roof damaging the roof, soffit, facia, and gutters on the west side of my home. They immediately had a roofer come and patch the roof, the shingles did not match which will require my roof to have to be washed at an estimated cost of $***. They were not able to find a carpenter to repair the soffit, facia and gutters and told me to go ahead and have it done, and they would pay for the work. I had the work done for $***** they have now refused to pay.
The boom truck used to remove the tree pulled into my front yard. I had been assured that they would put down pads to insure no damage to my yard and irrigation system. They did not put down pads leaving two 12 feet by 2 feet by 4-inch areas of damage to the sod in my front yard.
The owner, Robert Y****, sent his son out and inspected the damage and he assured me that it would all be taken care of. It is now March 22, 2022, and nothing has been done. Eastern Tree no longer answers my phone calls or respond to my emails or messages.
Eastern Tree did $***** in damages to my home and property and then refused to communicate with me to resolve the matter.
I feel the state of Alabama should revoke their business license

A bit of a rocky start but a great finish. Had some communications issues but, once the crew got there, the work went well and as expected. Unfortunately, the cleanup crew didn't come when promised. After several calls and 7 days, I cleaned up the mess myself and figured that was the last I'd hear from ETS. I was wrong. The owner called, apologized, and REFUNDED my money since the job hadn't been finished. Good on ya ETS!
