    When you go to a mechanic, you're already nervous because of the stigma that they have. Places like THIS are the reason that stigma exists. I bought a 2018 **** Edge with 40K miles from ********************************************* in June 2022. It's now June of 2023 and I've been able to drive the car for 1 month total because **************************** did the warranty work.July 2022 - the engine started hesitating and jerking and the check engine light came on. The code was a misfire in cylinder 3. I had the coil and spark plug changed. Light stayed on. It was under the Powertrain warranty so Chevrolet sent it to **************************** in Chatom, AL since it was warranty work. March 7th - Delivered the car. It was hesitating, making a very loud screeching sound and struggling to get over 40 mph. I called and discussed the issue with **** and they said they needed the code before they would even LOOK at it. Check engine code was P1200, which is a motor issue. ***** towed the car to ****.May 5th - **** replaced the entire motor and turbo. The driver delivering the car drove up with the "check engine system charging" light on. What?? I called **** and they said the light isn't the motor so it's not warranty work so that's not on them. But told me to let them know what the problem was.A week went by and the car STOPPED working. I had the car towed to ********** in *********, **. A week later they tell me that "We can't say exactly when or WHO did this, but the ground circuit was wired wrong and this was 100% due to a mechanic's incompetence" He knew that the engine had just been replaced and indicated that **************************************** INCORRECTLY WIRED WHEN THEY PUT IN THE ****** That's the ONLY possible way that the ground circuit could be damaged the way it was. I reached out to them to let them know that I was having to pay for this and sent them the diagnosis from **********. Shockingly, no one has gotten back to me. They don't communicate nor do they care at all about their reputation. STAY AWAY!
