      Property we stayed at was nice. We've been there a few times, wanted a different condo so we rented theirs. The owner replied our inquiries very promptly. The rental management - Dauphin Island Beach Rentals LLC-: 2 business days via email. They do answer calls during business hours. Cleanness: OK. There was sand, lot of sand, on one of the bed comforters, and in the laundry room when we checked in. But it was sand, so we don't care much. The rest of the house was clean, not shiny if you know what I mean. Price is compatible. They do charge upfront, and a hefty penalty if you do change plans. One big complaint is the rental company's damage waiver policy. After paying it, as it looks like mandatory, I received the rental contract. Their fine print on the rental contract says you don't have to pay it if you don't want it. We emailed them that we don't want it, was told we need to send them a $*** check as a deposit, and they will refund it 2 weeks after check-out. After the stay, I asked for the refunds of both, the damage waiver fee and the $*** deposit, they said they don't have my check in their office. (They didn't say they never received it, I notice). They didn't cash the check, maybe never intend to since I didn't do a signature mail. So no proof, no refund. I also notice they don't want that $*** in credit card. (All other transactions are by credit cards). I think that is shady business. Anyway, next time we'll go back to the other company. Don't we miss the day most businesses cared about customers, because if they were not, they'd be out of business. Well, you just have to find the right one. God bless.

      I stated to Ms. Potter that we have never received her check.   I can not refund something that was never received in our office. We have guest that do pay the ****** deposit and as soon as we receive the check we refund the ****9 damage waiver.  I noticed that the ***** fee was never refunded to Ms. Potter. I asked Ms. Potter to send me a copy of the check and I would investigate this issue, however, I never heard anything else from her.  I assumed that she realized she never sent the check to our office. I would be happy to refund the ****** deposit and the ***** fee if she was willing to send me proof that it was sent.  I have not received anything as of 5/31/2022.
