I have not been able to get Wiregrass Construction Company to follow through with the payment for damages to my vehicle while they worked construction on the roadway on I565. I filed a claim with ***** who returned paperwork to me claiming the repair was the responsibility of Wiregrass Construction Company who was required to hold liability insurance at the time they were working on the road, and that I should pursue them. Initially, getting a returned phone call from ***** ************* at Wiregrass Construction Company's home office in ******, Al was difficult. I started calling on Sept 9th. I finally made contact with ***** ************* who stated she was over their insurance claims. She refused to take a claim from me and stated they closed out their claims in August (I filed my claim with ***** on August 9th and it took 30 days for them to make a determination. I started calling Mrs. ************* immediately after receiving my paperwork from *****). With my insistence, she asked me to send her the paperwork I received from ***** along with the paperwork I sent ***** (police report, estimate of damages $8,469.42, etc.). I sent everything she requested. Weeks later she stated she was about to send in my claim but needed pictures of the damages. I emailed her the 37 pictures that was taken by the body shop on October 6th. I have not heard from her again, nor have I been able to get her to reply to my emails or return a phone call regarding the status of the claim. I have been dealing with Mrs. ************* and Wiregrass Construction Company for 7 weeks without resolution. Any assistance you could offer me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
