      I recently reviewed my credit report and discovered an account with ************************, opened on April 12, 2017, with account number *****************, that is not mine. This account is listed twice on my report. I am a victim of identity theft, and this account was fraudulently opened in my name. I have filed a complaint with ***************** regarding this matter.Please investigate this account and remove both entries from my credit report. I request that you provide me with a confirmation of the actions taken on this dispute.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

      In light of this Complaint, the matter was investigated.  Avadian is reporting two accounts on the Consumer's credit report, but both are being reported as "Bankruptcy" with a $0.00 balance.  Both of these accounts were listed on the Consumer's Chapter 7 Bankruptcy he filed in 2019.  We are unaware of any ID theft allegations.

      Me and my wife got a loan through Avadian Credit Union. $20,000 for a Nissan rogue. Everything was good at first until last month they added a $3,000 debt on top of our loan, no warning or heads up at all. It has damaged my credit and when I filed a complaint to try to dispute the random charge I was informed it was loan insurance. And all I had to do was provide prove of insurance for the vehicle. I was furious because that is sent out from the car dealership to Avadian because me and my wife leave the dealership lot. But I sent out all the documents they asked for, and even had my insurance company, Roots, sent their information over. Avadian informed me that in two days a full refund would be applied, but here we are approaching a full week since the loan insurance was applied and I got a letter in the email informing me that my car payment will increase from $354 to $866. Nearly three times the price of the original agreed upon loan amount. I tried calling and they tend to hang up on me, Im debating if legal action would be preferred at this point in time because the amount of fury thats building up from the amount of unprofessionalism and downright inappropriate actions coming from this bank are pushing me to my limit. Its almost like a legal scam, completely blindsided and frankly I will not stand for it, one way or another actions need to be taken in order to get my refund and more for the damage theyve caused to my credit with the loan insurance they dropped onto my original loan amount.

      I received my ** state refund of $2074. It was a paper check as GA has a rule that if it is the first time you file taxes in the state of **, they must send a paper check. My family and I moved from AL last year (2023) to GA so that is why we received the paper check fr the state of GA. I deposited the check via Mobile Deposit on 3/22 and a hold for $1074 was placed on the check. There is nothing on their website stating why holds are placed on checks and no communication was sent to me detailing when the hold would come off. We had recurring bills that had been set up for payment due to expecting access to the full amount of the state refund. I called Avadian on 3/25( Monday) and ******* told me that a 5 day hold had been placed on the check and she didnt know why this occurred. She didnt offer to remove the hold sooner or state if it was even possible. Now the pending payments are on my account and I would have enough to cover if they werent holding the rest of balance of the check ($1074) but now the payments will go through and cause overdraft fees to incur. This is a nasty unfair practice and as a loyal customer for greater than 6 years, where I have taken out several car loans with this company. I should not be treated this way. They need to release the funds now and not charge me any overdraft fees! I previously disputed another case in which they charged me an overdraft fee in Feb ************************************************************ the account. I notified them and the did not take the fee off! We are looking to move from the so called credit union. They are NOT for the people.

Avadians ****** Services Agreement does, however, include provisions regarding the availability of funds depositing utilizing mobile deposit (remote deposit capture).

      I am rejecting this response because: 

      this does not address the hold that was placed on the check which does not happen for mobile deposits every time as Ive made several mobile deposits that were immediately available for lesser amounts. AAsian credit union  was giving me credit for the amount of the check and subtracting from the amount and not showing that my checking account was in the negative instead it was showing that it was in the positive and yet Avadian still applied two $30 overdraft fees. This is stealing plain and simple

      Went into ********** Branch to inquire about land and change pin number in which I was verified clearly went thru account thourgly we got to changing pin in which bank error name spelled ***** Threatened to keep credit card freeze account she closed cards in which I started recording 13min video I was humiliated and didn't feel safe there she then lied and stated she never opened my account on the computer but she did I told her she was unprofessional and this was disgusting and horrific coming from manager I called *******************************. ***** IN which no one called back they are holding bad business practices against people of color if you are black do not go here at all they clearly had my card closed which affected my account and I feel horrible regarding incident

      On two seperate occassions I called this institution and after going through a maze of phone menus was able to speak to a member representative. During my first call, on January 3rd, I told them I had received some correspondence about my recently deceased father's account and was inquiring about account specifics. I was told that they couldn't give me information about my fathers account unless I could get my mother on the phone with me since she was also on the account (which I understand and agree with) - she was not with me at the time so I said I would call back later. I called back on January 8th, with my mother as directed, and made the same request. I was told that they couldn't give me any information because this was a 3rd party call since I was on the line - my mother is in her mid 80s and has hearing and memory issues and isn't capable of navigating this over complex myriad of phone options. This institution needs to make accommodations for the elderly and disabled and we needs to be able to get information about HER account over the phone.

      I am writing this complaint in regards to a visit I had today at my local branch and the horrible customer service I received. ********************** recently sent an email to all customers announcing that they will start doing an early deposit program for participating employers in June. Their email stated that the deposits would begin to be deposited up to 3 days early. In June, my check was available 1 business day early. My husband is paid bi-weekly, and his checks were deposited a day early for the months of June and July as well. My July check was not deposited a day early. I went into my local branch to inquire and request help because I was counting on that service they promoted to be consistent. I scheduled a bill to be paid and was charged an insufficient fund fee because my paycheck was showing as pending even though my employer had sent them the funds. The branch manager refused to release my funds, and told me its a new service and we are working out the kinks. It could go in early or it might not. This is not the way to run a company or manage peoples funds. Inconsistency in how they abide by a program that they are promoting and promising to their customers is unacceptable. I asked if she would at least refund the fee they charged me. She refused and said she would submit it for review. Anytime they have ever told me that I never heard anything back from them. The only reason I had the fee was because they didnt deposit my check when they said they would, and yet still wouldnt refund the fee. I expressed my frustration to the manager and told her I was considering changing banks and she shrugged her shoulders and said okay. This company does not care about their customers. Their customer service is seriously lacking and these are very unprofessional business practices.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      Avadian should not advertise early deposit if it is not the companies intention to honor it consistently. Not only did I receive several emails about this service, but it is also being shown on a slideshow in your lobby. I avoided leaving Avadian because you announced that you would begin doing this. I was ready to move my accounts to Regions because they honor this without fail. In addition, you deposited my check early several times and then all of a sudden didnt. This inconsistency is misleading and seems like a sneaky business practice in which you take advantage of customers and reap the benefits of the resulting overdraft charges. Finally, you did not address the unprofessional way that I was treated by the branch manager.

      On June the 29, 2023 Avadian Credit Union located at ******************************************************************** closed my account the day of two pending deposit to clear up an overdraft. I Never received Anything in the mail stating that if I do not clear the account by a certain date that the account will be closed, I have had Several overdrafts in that account with larger amounts than what was currently due, instead of Avadian contacting me about the overdraft, they decided to close the account without any notice and I have been a customer of ********************** for over 5 years. My husband has stage 4 lung cancer and his work checks, bonus checks and future disability checks are all assigned to that checking account.

      After several years of myself and my wife having many surgeries and declining health issues , we had a small savings account with ********************** that we had sort of forgotten and due to health and financial difficulties had not been able to deposit to the account . We had to move from our custom built home 3 years ago due to many surgeries and health issues and both of us are totally dependent on Social Security and disability as our only source of income . So , about 3 weeks ago , we were discussing how we could come up with any kind of help and remembered our savings acct. with them , which the last statement from them is dated 06/01/19 with a balance of $116.99 . The 1st person I called and talked to find out the amount in the acct. so we could close it so we would have a little extra money ,said the acct. was closed and the money had been sent to the **************** . After a long discussion with her that they did not have the right to close my acct. , and they had not contacted me to say they where going to close our acct. , and in reality had stole our money . Turned around and called the state , they had no record of receiving the money and the lady told me to call them and get the exact amount and date the money was sent to them so I could claim it . Next day called talked to another lady at Avadian , she tried to help me but could not tell me the amount but said the money was not sent to state but fees had done away with the acct., she looked up and saw that they had my new address . Never received any notices from them at our new address . **** and talked to the branch manager in ****** , *********************** on 05/12/2023 and she said there was nothing she could do . I know this is not a lot of money , but in our case , anything helps , this is not our fault the acct. is closed , and in my book , just plain stealing . I told them , your website is a joke when it says , YOUR MONEY IS SAFE AND SEC URE WITH ** .

      We got over draft with this company in January. Well we paid the over draft fees everytime we get paid and that was twice a month. Well I woke up a few mornings ago to find that they closed our checking account so I contacted them and they said we were 75 days behind on paying which is c*** because even few bakers at this institution did not understand as of why our account was closed. They didnt notify me or anything the whole time about being supposedly late or that they had closed our account. Now I am waiting on our tax return to be paper mailed due to them closing out our account only days prior from us getting our tax return. The people that have helped were very nasty and had an attitude and this bank is all around just crooked Im warning anyone before they become screwed over like we did.

      I am not liable for a debt that AVADIAN CREDIT UNION put on my credit report as a charge off/ collections account, on a saving account I was unaware of. The account was overdrawn $55.00 how that happen, I have no idea, because the account was never used because I was unaware of it. They sent the account to collections / charge off, so when I was notiflied and found out about the account, I had questions about the account, and how the account had went into an overdrawn status. They told me some bills were attempted to be paid thru the account. So to keep everything on good terms I just went ahead and paid the $55.00 not knowing AVADIAN CREDIT UNION had put this on my credit report as a collection/charge off account with a 30 & 60 day late payment. I am a 100% disable *********** Veteran on a fixed income and I have exceptional Credit and this $55.00 collection/ charge off has cost me a decline in my credit score of 60 points, credit lines to be decrease, and 2 denials on purchases, and I can't even open an account with another banking institution because something that they have put in the credit system. I have tried to talk to AVADIAN CREDIT UNION, and was greeted with a nasty response to what they were not going to do, I have sent a letter to the chair person and all I get is the run around. I have 4 accounts with them, and for them to treat me as such, I think is very disrespectful. I plan to close all accounts. I demand this collection / charge off account be deleted from my credit report, and all other things that they report to, because I plan to take other legal actions if this is not resolved.
