1 starI have been a member of Redstone FCU since 1966. Then it was a Bank on the 2nd floor of a wooden building formerly a barracks. I had Fraud on my account on 21 March, 2025. I noticed the Fraud and called Redstone FCU. Rather than making my Debit Card non-active I was given the opportunity to drive to ********************************* and get sufficient funds needed until a new Debit Card could be issued. Redstone FCU always suggests Go to one of our Branches and get a Debit Card. I live in ******, *****. In the past a Debit Card would be ordered and ***** would deliver the Debit Card for a Fee of $35. That fee has now been increased to $40. In the past I always paid the Fee for expedited service. The opportunity to pay the $40 was never provided!!! Someone decided to to use ****. I received an Alert on Sunday, 23 March You card is on its way! Its Saturday, 29 March. Just finished talking to Redstones *** that manages Debit Cards. **** You should receive on Monday, 31 March. And if I do not receive? **** Call us. Ended call saying this is my worst experience since 1966.Review fromHolly N

This company stole tons of money from me on a car loan they claimed I was delinquent on. I have a payment confirmation on March the 4th & was told a payment confirmation and number means nothing. They repossessed my vehicle today, a month after my payment. I had no idea why. I have never had a vehicle repossessed & I pay my bills. This company does not care. What so ever. This is absolutely horrible company. They had defaulted my payments into a savings acct that I did not open on March 4th. $1889.94 towards loan payments, defaulted into a saving that THEY DID. Today March the 26th; they repossessed my car saying I was behind. I am absolutely mind blown. I am a single mother of 3 and have never felt so unheard. Not to mention after it was established that the $1889.94 was moved over to the actual loan from the savings acct (that ********************** put it in) , then proceeds to charge me $575 for the tow truck, $140 to the tow yard AND now that they have all this money the tow yard they use will not release my car until 9am tmro morning. Actual CROOKS. Do not bank with these ppl.Redstone Federal Credit Union

Banking/financial institutions aren't the best in general, but this has been by far the fairest I've dealt with. I have checking and savings accounts, as well as loans. I like them enough that I continued banking with them even when I moved out of state. The reviews here reflect a lot of disgruntled people, and I'm not saying they didn't have these experiences, but I just don't think it reflects the experience the majority of customers have with **********************.Redstone Federal Credit Union

This place is terrible! Unprofessional, incompetent and straight up lying to s**** you over at the end. Be careful especially with mortgage and other loans here!!! Apparently they don't care about the well being of customers, only about themselves to pocket whatever they can get from the real people. Do yourself a huge favor and take your business/money elsewhere.Redstone Federal Credit Union

Thank you for your feedback. We take it seriously and will use this as a coaching opportunity to improve our service moving forward. We apologize for any confusion regarding your fathers car loans. To clarify, when the borrower on a loan passes away, that loan is in default, and the lender may exercise certain actions allowed under the loan agreement or applicable law in order to recover the debt (e.g., repossession of the vehicle, filing a claim against the estate, etc.).To avoid those actions, you do have the option to pay off the loans in full, but you also have the option to refinance the loans through RFCU or another lender of your choice.Due to the exceptional difficulty of a loved ones passing, we provide time for the heirs to resolve a deceased members debts prior to taking action. However, there are legal requirements regarding timing and recovery of debt that prevent us from delaying inevitably or allowing the loan to stay in the deceased borrowers name.Again, thank you for your valuable feedback. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. Once you determine how you would like to proceed, we will be happy to assist in whatever way we can.Review fromAustin A

Came to my office to offer a credit card machine never informing me they were going to check credit score. Well things didn't work out and I was unable to use them which was fine but when seeing my fico score, I took a pretty big hit because of them unbeknownst to me. Then when calling them no one could help but keep transferring me around. As a small business I would not use them.Redstone Federal Credit Union

1 starThis company isn't recommended to anyone. My mom had an auto account with them and they're saying she's missed payments. How? The account was on autopay and miney accessible Then they closed it and sentthe account to collections. The vehicle was nearly paid off and this happened. Fraudsters at their best.Review fromWilliam F

1 starThese people helped jegs.com steal $568.96 ( they waited 2 months to to pay for something I never bought) of my money and then made me proove I had not got anything from jegs.com. they all made money off my money, where is my cut of the interest off of the money. These people are thieves and someone should see them and make them stop stealing from their members. I'm looking for an attorney to protect my interest in this matter.Review fromM. S

There was fraud on my account years ago and I knew who did it. Redstone would not confirm the name so I could press charges or press charges on my behalf. They also would not give me any documentation confirming the transaction was fraud so I closed my account. Fortunately, my situation was less than $900 and they cleared it from my account prior to closing. Years later a similar situation with the same person committing fraud on a family members account, over $38K stolen. Redstone suggested asking the criminal to return the money. Redstone has proof of the fraud and they refuse to report it to the authorities. Why do they continue to let people get away with committing fraud and not reporting it or pressing charges? That means no members account is safe because they dont hold any of these criminals accountable for their theft.Redstone Federal Credit Union
