We purchased a car wash for the month of January of this year, which was prorated that month because it was the end of the month. So, paid $23.99 on our credit card for the month of February while we were staying in ***********. Then we returned to Nebraska in March. Legacy C continued to charge our credit card each month until August 1st when I noticed. We immediately called the business and were told they would look into it, review tapes, call us back etc. Had charges for 3 months taken off by our credit card company. So, we are still owed $71.97 for the months we were charged and were obviously back in ********. ******* sounded like she would look into this. Then we were directed to "CJ", the owner, same promises, will get back to you in 3 days, which was over 2 weeks ago. Tried again today and was directed to some kind of ad wanting to tell me about whats happening and push this button if you're under 65 or this one if over. We've made a total of 15 calls since September 1st with 1 return call promising to look into this. Obviously, this isn't going to happen. I want to warn other people about this dishonest owner so they don't do business with him. My credit card *** said my complaint was legitimate but they could only go back 3 months. I know we washed the car as we left town and told them to discontinue the charge then as we were returning to ********. Beyond frustrating that people prey on honest people to make money this way! Every charge on my credit card since March is from businesses in ********, so I have a paper trail. I'm not tech savy enough to upload copies of my cr. cd. statements, I could take a screen shot on my phone and text copies. This is a complaint against the Legacy C/Bebos on **** ******************* in *****, **. So, we are owed a refund of $71.97 for 3 months yet.

Bebo's does not own this car wash or convenience store. We sold the wash and store on January 19, 2023 to ************************* DBA Legacy Car Wash. They are the ones that collected the money, so they should be the one to refund it.

I went to this business with a van covered in tree sap. When I pulled up I asked the gentleman if he could get it clean. He assured me if are used the most expensive wash that he could get it clean. I left the car wash and drove 40 miles to another gas station. When I got out my car had significant damage. I had gone nowhere but from that business to the next business. Spoke to assistant manager who said speaking to the manager and "They would get me taken care of". Saw manager today. He refused to acknowledge the damage was done at his car wash. Dude acknowledge that large piece of molding pulled away was done by a car wash. Then said it was due to previous damage. Refused to repair damage. Then, after trying to get out of repairing damage asked me what year my van is and said they only cover vehicles seven years or earlier. Asked me if I got out of my car and inspected it before leaving the property. You are not asked to get out of the car so why would I have done that? They just don't want to pay for the damage and they are avoiding it at all costs. I was told to contact a lawyer and he walked away. Manager was very rude as was assistant manager. My van will remain damaged because they will not admit their mistakes. Also, the roof of my van is still filthy. The only answer to that was he would run it through the car wash again. What a joke. It damaged it once so let's run it through again. Extremely dissatisfied and expecting a solution to my problem.Repairs to the damage on my vehicle. I have read the Google reviews and there have been many vehicles with molding pulled off. One person reported it and saw another gentleman there with missing molding. When the manager was asked he said "oh, his car is old".

      Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/12/09) */ this vehicle had been neglected and had previous damage. We clearly post a notice at all of our washes that we do not accept responsibility to vehicles over 7 years. This notice is posted at every conveyorized car wash that I am familiar with due to the potential that exists for older vehicles to lose a piece of trim or other parts that are compromised due to normal wear and tear or previous damage. We cannot warranty these items. The dealership and manufacturer do not cover these items either due to the same circumstances, so why would Bebo's or anyone else? Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2021/12/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) My vehicle has not been neglected. The damages I am claiming Bebo's were not present before I went through the car wash and were then there 20 minutes later when I stopped to get gas. This manager admitted the damages were caused by the car wash. He tried to tell me the small paint chip was a "paint rub" where someone had hit my car. So someone hit the side of my car and only caused this one paint chip. He admitted the trim was pulled by the car wash but then started making excuses as to why he refused to fix it. I have read many many reviews of this business that involve these machines pulling off trim and him refusing to fix them. This is a manager that just doesn't want to take responsibility and repair what his machines break. There is lots of evidence of this on google reviews, Facebook, twitter and also previous complaints here.

On Saturday Morning, Oct. 23, 2021, my car was damaged by Bebo's machine. As I entered the car wash, the attendant instructed me to put the car in Neutral as I normally would before driving through the wash. As I proceeded through the wash, I noticed the machine started hitting my car really hard and I started smelling rubber. My car stopped moving. I blew my horn to notify the attendant. The attendant tried to fix the issue by kneeling down by my front left tire and the machine. He was unsuccessful. I told him to go get help and turn the wash off because the smell of rubber was getting stronger and the machine was hitting my car even harder on all sides. The manager came along with a few other attendants. I told him to please turn the wash off. The manager instructed one of the attendants to finally turn off the wash. He then asked me to put my car in Park. Then he instructed me to Put my car in Reverse and to "give it some gas." Then he told me to put my car in Neutral. He repeated the same instructions over and over again. He turned the car wash on again and I proceeded through. My car was wet and still dirty. I was asked to drive through again, but was not going to risk the chance of getting stuck again. I looked around my car and saw where the machine had damaged the right front side of my car. I notified the manager and he said that was due to me backing up. I told him he had instructed me to back up. He said I needed to notify my insurance company because he couldn't pay for the damage. I told him it was unfair. I told him of all the years that I have gone through a car wash, I have never had any problems. He insisted it was my fault and told me to leave the premises. I called for a Police Officer to come out. The officer took pictures and tried to view footage of what happened. Bebos would not cooperate. I was provided with a case #. The Manager was very rude and unprofessional. Bebos need to pay for the damages to my vehicle.
