Submitted an offer to purchase a duramax engine from a specific vehicle under the impression it was complete engine. Once I receive the engine it didn't have ac compressor or alternator or wiring harness on it. Upon further inspection I noticed that the motor mounts were broken clean in 2 peices and lots of red clay *** residue on this engine that they had tried to clean up. Tried to resolve the issue with them and the salesperson automatically gets belligerent acting like I'm stupid . So let it slide for a couple weeks and let the engine sit on the pallet in my garage and finally decided to install it . Once I got it in I noticed the upper coolant outlet pipe from thermostat housing had been smashed with *** under it also. Indicating this engine did NOT come from the vehicle it was supposed to have as the ambulance had NO physical damage and no ***. They did in fact have a nother truck that had been involved in a crash/rollover event and had the same red clay *** on it as the engine. Tried to call and address my issues and my findings and of course they tried to blame me for it. I dropped it or rolled it over even though my garage has concrete floors and I have a blacktop drive so there is NO chance that I rolled it ans smashed the coolant outlet pipe and got *** under it. And of course salesperson got be even more belligerent . I will never buy from these people again ans advise no one else does either. Especially when you spend **** on a engine that's suppose to be complete and come to find out when the send it to you it's not complete and NOT the engine you aimed to purchase and paid for.
