Took my vehicle to Amaco Transmission in Trussville ******* cause I did my research and thought it was a reputable shop. They Quoted me a price of just under 4,400.to install the ******* transmission-but called to say that they had found a USED transmission and tort converter for just under *****. I agree to pay the shop half now and the rest when it was complete. They didn't finish when they said the would.I called them the day it was suppose to be finished and they said the tech did show up to work that day so we would have to wait but the had called somebody else in to finish installing it.when I did pick up it was shift hard from the time I drove it out the parking lot but figure it was be cause the transmission had just been put in.when it still was acting up after 2 week I called the shop and said I was bring it back and the agreed. I week later I was on the way to take it back and as I was driving it I heard a noise and looked in the side mirror and seen parts flying so I pulled over and looked transmiss bellhousing was broke a I was pouring liquid from the motor. Amaco has it now.they said the drive shaft can out and they wasn't responsible to fix it cause the trans is still good but to put the trans in they would have had to remove the driveshaft and should have let me know before reinstalling the driveshaft if the was something wrong in there or the installed it wrong there is no other reason that driveshaft would have came out the y are trying to not pay for my vhivle to be fixed when they had to remove the driveshaft and put back it after they installed the tranmission I want the truck fixed and I am not accepting that I will be responsible for the bill to fix it the next step is to file a lawsuit.Had a mechanic look at it and they said some bolts were missing and the tort convertor wasn't installed properly

I am rejecting this response because:

what kind of response is that.yes I been communicating with them about it but only when I call them to ask about it.they never call me and the parts that they ordered I am having to pay for they not honoring the warranty I paid over ******* dollars to have them ideally a transmission and now they want me to pay over ******* to have the new parts installed. Cause they didnt fix it right in that first place. Failure of a u joint the claim but the starter had to be removed and the driveshaft had to be removed to put the new transmission in and the cause damage to the starter and driveshaft or ujoints for them to fail.the shop did offer to not charge any labor whatsoever on the parts they have ordered and thats great but no reason for me to pay for cause it was their mistake and I called them and told them I was bringing the truck back cause it was shifting too had.the transmission last for 10 days and now back in shop again with way more damage than it was before NOT AT ALL SATISFIED WITH THERE RESPONSE

    Sincerely,
