I purchased a 2017 Infiniti QX60 at the end of July 2023. I drove the the vehicle about 2 months before we notice a noise and the check engine light would come on but then it would also go back off. I wasn't really sure what was going on so I first went to my local Autozone shop and let them hooked it up to their machine to see what the issue might have been. They said it seem to be that I needed a spark plug replaced. A couple weeks later I took the vehicle to my mechanic because it was also then time for a oil change as well. He informed me that the car seem to have caked up sluggish old oil.....however, he proceeded to finish up the oil change and clean up what he could. The car was then sent to ********************** where I was informed that because of poor maintenance that the timing was the issue due to the sluggish oil getting in that area and not only that BUT ALSO it seemed to have gotten even deeper INTO THE ENGINE and the ENTIRE ENGINE WILL HAVE TO BE REPLACE. I have since then been working EVERYDAY to get this issue resolved between my warranty AND HOLLYWOOD IMPORTS and NEITHER are even trying to work with me AT ALL. I am a active mother of 3 small children all under the age of 10, I commute to and from work daily and I am Now Car-Less and stuck paying for a vehicle that is NOT DRIVABLE. I've been STRESSED OUT for the past WEEK NOW and this company- HOLLYWOOD IMPORTS could careLESS.....I did try reaching out to them but was told that they had completed a full inspection on the car prior to my purchase and there was nothing wrong with it when they sold it to me and that I needed to take it up with the warranty company. Eventhough, I have been given clear FACTS FROM not one BUT TWO license machanics/ technicians that the damage done to my vehicle could NOT have been done within the short amount of time I've had the *** and STILL they are refusing to do ANYTHING!!!!Initial Complaint

I am filing a complaint against the company Hollywood ******* **** On November 26, 2022 Hollywood Imports sold me a ************** 2017 SUV, knowing that the engine was damaged and needed to be replaced. ******* was aware that this was a damaged vehicle, after JAGUAR- ************************ serviced this vehicle, they informed ******* and America Auto Auction that the ENGINE WAS BAD, damaged and needed to be repaired as well as 3 cylinder injectors that I paid to have repaired for $4,474.32; My company has taken many financial hits because of this. Because Hollywood Imports placed me into a third party loan of $18,877.97 and ********* left on my credit report to pay, which vehicle totaled at $25, 581.92 at time of purchase and I have continue paying this auto loan, despite Hollywood Imports, selling me a vehicle with a BAD EGINE, they FRAUDED and SCAMMED me. Moreover an On Sept 26, 2023 the vehicle stopped working and my insurance company had to tow my SUV back home. ***** Automotives, LLC another Mechanic, along with Jaguar, then also confirmed that the ************** engines was damaged and that it needed a new engine because the time had jumped and that it would cost $13,569.42; for a vehicle that I purchased at ****** miles and that I only put 2000 - 5000 miles on meaning it has around ****** on it. Both of the mechanics that I had taken to look at this vehicle stated *******, the owner was aware of this damage but still sold me a damage defective product knowingly. I paid my hard earn money of $5,000.00 as down payment with a 720 Credit score and the vehicle was financed for my small business and I was pregnant at the time of purchase. I was completely scammed out of my ************************** the owner of Hollywood Imports placed this vehicle on his dealership LOT knowing that the ENGINE was NO GOOD and was garbage. JAGUAR- ************************ informed me that the engine was damaged and needed to be replaced for $38,000.00. ******* provided a FRAUD AUTO CHECKInitial Complaint

I purchased a car from Hollywood Imports less than a month ago. Even though I spent over $20K for this purchase, ************************* told me it didn't come with a warranty, but if I had any issues with it to bring it back within the first 30 days and they would fix or have it fixed. I contacted her two weeks later to let her know that the car was leaking all of the coolant. She told me to take it to *********** and let them look at it. I called her back and told her the diagnostic. The mechanic said it was a previous problem with a hole in one of the lines that got bigger from the pressure of the coolant. She said after speaking with the owner, they wouldn't be able to help me cause he assumed that I hit something in order to cause the problem. I haven't hit anything and the leak is coming from behind the motor. I asked if they could pay half of the repair bill, since I haven't had the car 30 days but they refused. The repair cost is $1800. I haven't been able to go to work. I would have been okay with them fixing the problem and giving me a loaner vehicle until mine was fixed, but they are not interested in helping me since the bank has paid them for my loan. Please help me resolve this issue. Thanks in advance.Initial Complaint

I went to Hollywood Imports to look a 2door convertible. Something to use as a daily commuter. The lady said the car I was looking at wouldnt make a good commuter car. She made a suggestion of a 4!door *****************. She told me they lasted forever. It was one of the owners favorite cars. I test drive 2 and finally with her input choose a silver one.that night at home. I noticed the car was missing a lug nut of each wheel. Had planned on calling them the next day. (Was unable to call). Then driving home from work. A light with half the engine came on, TODAY. Not even 2 1/2 days have passed. Come to find out the car has fuel pump is***s. I believe she knew that because I declined the extended warranty. But she ended up talking me into buying one. I should have know something was up when she had me cash app the down payment. I plan on taking this as far as I have too to get my money back. And return their car. Even if I have to *** her personally. I hoping the BBB can help.Business Response

I went in on Sep. 19th to look at a convertible. My goal was a cheap work vehicle that I could rebuild my credit because of a past identity theft. The saleswoman told me the convertible wasnt a good car and that the one I ended up with was wonderful and the only car I could get financing for. She added a ******** warranty, and even did financing for 60 months when I told her I didnt want to go over *****. She told me I could always refinance later. The first question I asked was had the car been in an accident. She said no. But as she was having me sign the paperwork. She said it had been in a small finder binder and front bumper had been painted. (But the rear of the car has been painted as well). The first day I had the car. I noticed it was missing a lug nut off each wheel. And on my way home from work. A light came on the dash. I had it scanned the ship said it was the fuel system. She told me to bring the car to the dealership and they would fix it. They first said it was a turbo sensor. But after a day they said it was just the air filter. I had also said something to her about a vibration when you drove she said it was an alignment that would cost me ***** to be fixed. It is NOT an alignment. It had bent rims. Heres the best part. She didnt put my last name on the paperwork. So I cant even get a tag. Ive asked them about swapping the vehicle. She said yes but they would give me ***** on trade when a month ago they charged me ******, plus ***** for a warranty, tax , doc fee, and title fee. The pay off is ********* today. She told the finance company that I had a name change, and me that it was the finance companys fault. But it was actually her fault. I cant drive the car because of the tag. And she wont respond to a message anymore. So I need so help desperately.
