Less than 8 hours of use and have had to return it for repairs to the dealer twice. Warranty does cover the repairs, but a huge hassle. Very poor quality.

BEWARE of BAD BOY MOWERS!!!’ Purchased Brand new BAD BOY Rambler at Capps in Dover NC in Spring of 2023. Today 22 month old still under warranty engine blown. (It actually locked up with approx. 15 months old. Under warranty push rod and cam replacement). Capps says not my problem-it’s a Briggs and Stratton problem regarding the engine. Briggs says I ran with low oil. Ummmmm I don’t think so. My job is to manage pm’s and repairs for 600 vehicles so don’t pull that card. Talked to Bad Boy area rep Chris . Same answer.. so I picked it up today from the anothrt dealer who working on it (they were nice) and going forward I hope to shine light on a very poor handling of a customer issue. Oh ps I spent about $3400 on a mower that I expected to get 10 years out of. The bad part of it all is i was really excited about the purchase but the lack of concern and advocating on my behalf by Capps and Bad Boy ruined it. #badboymower

I’ve never tried harder to spend money on a zero turn. This is simply a turn key company with great marketing. Just go to Lowe’s

I purchased my Badboy Magnum a little over a year ago, while the mower does a good job while functioning it did break down after 55 hours, which I am understanding of because parts do fail, however when I wanted the mower repaired, which was still under warranty, I had to use some repair shop about 30 minutes away , they took two weeks to pick it up then another two weeks afterwards to make the repair. As if that wasn't bad enough during mowing season and not having a lawnmower, they charged me $97 for " fees not covered " by the warranty. Needless to say I was disappointed with the repair shop and after emailing Badboy twice about it, I have not gotten any response to why the wait for repair or if the extra fees were legitimate. Poor service after the sale.

I purchased A Bad Boy "Rebel "61" commercial mower in January 2023. Have used it for 2 seasons now. While it was certianly no bargain, the price was decent. In the 2 seasons I have owned it, it has been to the dealer at least a dozen times for repairs and part replacements. These were issues that came from the factory according to the dealer. I have followed the manual and the dealer advice to the letter, mower does not sit out in the weather, oil & filter changed regularly and use eth-free fuel. The issues have been anything from electronic to hardware breakage. I got it back from the dealer in July '24, then in August the fuel gague quit working. The dealer has been very accomodating and good to work with, but these kind of issues/problems should not come from the factory. If I had it to do over, I would not have purchased a Bad Boy. I am of the opinion that they either get defective component parts and/or have quality control problems at manufacture. I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND purchasing a Bad Boy Mower.

After about 8 hours the steering linkage loosed to point I could not back up with right arm. Could not tighten linkage, it is just loose so will not go forward or backward in synch with both arms. Dealer, Sutherlands Lumber, picked up 2 weeks ago and as of today has not even looked at the machine. Informed that some people wait for months for parts during busy season, so lucky they will get to it soon.

They do everything they can to not honor service bulletins under warranty, even to the point of writing in a requirement in their warranties to have a certification, issued by Bad Boy to even BUY the part. 2023 MZ Rambler 42in mowers have a known issue where, within about 5 uses, the deck belt comes off. There is a service bulletin where this is supposed to be covered under warranty, *along with the belt.* They KNOW about this problem! I have a call recording, of Bad Boy Mowers Warranty Dept, raising their voice, trying to avoid basic services on my residential MZ Rambler mower. AR and AL are single-party consent states for recording conversations. It will be shared widely. The ONLY way to have them honor the warranty is to haul the machine in, driving possibly an hour or more away to a dealer/service center.... also at my cost, if I can even get a vehicle and trailer. I will work that out, because they have houdini'd the customers, but I will not support that company again, and I will hold them accountable. I purchased a US built mower from a US based company, expecting a better experience than a foreign branded Lowes/Home Depot special... I was badly disappointed in how they handled it. I for one, will never purchase another Bad Boy product, and will ensure that is the same for people I know. It's simply a bad company. How they have a BBB A+ is beyond me, so just read the complaints before buying.

Horrible company to work for. Intentionally ships out mowers that don’t pass inspection. I left the company after 2 years due to their unsafe practices and conditions. My last day there they shipped out a mower to tractor supply with a gas leak!

I bought the mower from Tractor Supply. I didn't even make one pass around my yard before the belt came off. After 30 minutes of getting the belt on, the mower would not start. I charged the battery, put in a new battery, but it still would not start. I moved the levers to put the mower in neutral to put it into my garage, but the wheels stayed hydraulically locked so the mower cannot start and cannot be moved.
