      After 5 years and 3 months of a 4 year contract, I finally finished (graduated). My final payment was made on Sept 25, 2023. After all payments cleared I had a balance left. I called Sept. 29 ,2023 and asked for the refund to be sent to me. I was told that would happen within 3 to 5 days. Needless to say it never happened. Now comes October 2023 , Global takes out a FEE of 19.95. Then again on October 16th another FEE 19.95 Mind you I am calling to have this closed!!!!!!!. Its not over yet, October 19th FEE of 10.95 , and last DECEMBER YES DECEMBER 1st another FEE of 10.95. All this after I "GRADUATED" at the end of September. Every time I called I assured my refund was being processed. You cant make this incompetence up!!! VERY UNSATIFIED CUSTOMER

      I joined to resolve debt. My debt has been resolved, 2 years late but it has been resolved. However, I had money left in my account at the end and anchor took this money as a service charge. All my service charges were completed by 2019. I have spoken to several people including ****, supervisor and have gotten zero information why this money was take from me. I was promised a copy of my contract a phone call from a superior and have received none. Also I am unable to log into my account any longer. Please help!

      I open services in Summer of 2018. I was told resolution should be completed and approximately 5 years. I was then asked to extend my program by an additional year because they had not resolved approximately 50% of my debt and they needed an additional $10,000. During the 5-year process, on year two I moved to Seattle from Connecticut. And then during year six I moved to Florida. I was called six months into year six to be told I could not be represented anymore as they did not work with people living in the state of Washington or Florida. My address had been updated with them since the original move in 2019. They did not catch this for over 5 years and continued to collect monthly fees of over $200 and failed to resolve any additional debt after the first year. Company only offered an apology and did not offer any retroactive fee reimbursement or assistance with current litigation. Company somehow kept in fees and payments over the course of 6 years and left me with that $20,000 of unresolved debt. Password is 5039

      We started our debt mediation program in 2018 and were told our debts and program with Anchor Law Firm could be resolved in August of 2022. We understood at the time that this date could potentially fluctuate by a "few months" due to litigation in court. When our August date came up last year we were told our program would for sure be pushed out longer but they could not give us a new estimated date. We have held up our agreement in our payment program faithfully without any late payments and we are seeing that we have only paid half our debt owed. We have reached out repeatedly in emails and phone messages to find out what the hold up is and continue to get automated responses to call at hours in which we are both working. This company has no other options to speak to someone. We NEED to get this resolved! This program is seeming to string us along, with no communication from their side.

      This my second complaint. After my first complain, Anchor Law Firm reached out to me weekly, I believed we were moving forward. I have two more Cards that need to be settled. I have been reaching out to them since August and all customer service is telling me is we are working on it.... The gentleman I worked with in the past because of my first complaint have yet to get back in touch with me. I have left messages to no avail. I have been calling since August!!! My contract was set to end in July and had to be extended until Dec. They have change my monthly payments on the 5th of the month from 306 to 317 which isn't a big deal, but without my permission. Bottom line is I am so close to the end of my extended contract AGAIN and I am not getting any information from them. I am going on 4 and a half years of a 4 year contract with no proper communication form Anchor Law Firm. I am Truly FRUSTATED ***** ********

      I *** *****, used anchor law firm as a debt consolidation for 3 years and the company never rendered adequate service. As of 2022, the company failed to removed creditors from my credit report. When I spoked to several agents, no one complied. This is very unfair and fraudulent.

      Signed into a program for a specific fee and time. At the end of the time my largest account remains without negotiation. Leaving me in Debt over $5000 after 4 years! Company negotiated small accounts and kept up with their fees knowing full well what they amount to negotiate the large account will be! I paid off one debt myself! They extended my payments by 2 months without my consent! Explained they had to pay litigators when this is a LAW FIRM which promised to get me out of debt by the time my consolidation program ended. The person who signed me up promised to be there throughout the program and stopped taking my calls once I signed on! This complaint Mirrors hundreds of other complaints and this company should be stopped immediately! I should be refunded my fees or part thereof since this company did not earn these fees honestly!

      There is no greater betrayal than that of a client by their attorney. The value and behavior of any company cannot be found in the praises of customers, but only in the pattern of customer complaints. It seems that Anchor Law's philosophy is a cruel twist on Abraham Lincoln's admonition about fooling people and time. Anchor must believe that if they don't fool all their clients all the time then they are doing good. They have provided no service for more than two years. This fraud is compounded by the fact that they have encouraged clients to deposit extra funds--from IRS refund checks, and the Covid relief monies--so as "to shorten your time in the program". Yet, when asked how much time has been saved by doing this, the lawyers and negotiators suddenly become physicists, and speak in the theoretical. I am amazed that there has not been a class action suit filed against Anchor Law. Most recently I have written directly to their offices and to the attorney assigned my case. No one responds to e-mails or letters or telephone calls. They simply take your money and virtually disappear. Their responses to complaints are insincere

      I contracted with Anchor to settle outstanding debt in 2016 with the final payment in 2021. Now I’m getting a derogatory mark on my credit report from one of the creditors included in the settlement that was sent to collections. I am unable to reach Anchor for a reason this debt was not settled.

      I have been paying to Anchor Law Firm, for the past 4 years, $817 per month for settlement of my debts. There is an attorney who is local to my area, ***** ********, who, for some reason, does not get back in touch with me after countless emails. At one point in time, I was defaulted and required to pay extra $ towards my already high monthly payment. My contract is up in June of this year. I was told, through a telephone conversation, that he would work towards resolution of my matter before my contract end. To date, no contact--or responses to my emails.
