My program with Anchor law was 42 months and the first payment started on 07/02/2018 in the amount of 312.86$. Total Estimated fees & settlement was in the amount of 13,139.99$ for 9 credits. After more than a year, we did take one of the cards out since there was nothing being done honestly. In total of the program we ended up paying up to 14,000$ because for one of the cards they needed extra funding. I did not miss one payment. In that 42 months, there was never a good communication. Nobody really checking up on things. I was the one calling, confirming if things were being worked on, what is happening etc. few times they had emailed about an offer that needed extra funding, and i said okay. But guess what!! i would email or call back asking what had happened with the credits that i said okay to extra funding, they would say it got cancelled and is being worked on. Seriously!!! Long story short, I made payments for 42 months, only got 3 creditors closed (the last one they had to close because i got sued!!! guess what it took them 3 months and i had to call multiple times to keep a track on it), and now left with 5 creditors that i still owe in total of around 8,000$. I called multiple times again addressing the issue, and they said they are willing to refund 581$!! this is not acceptable. No good service, no good communication, and lot of lies. The Anchor law firm came up with the numbers, the length for the program. There is a difference between estimating and not doing your job. I need a refund for the creditors they did not resolve!!! they keep saying its the charges for service fee's. What service!! Please help me to resolve this matter. Thank you.

On 3/22/18 my wife ***** and myself entered into a debt resolution contract for 48 months with Anchor Law Firm to resolve our credit card debt with 7 debtors. Our last payment was made on or about 3/7/22 in the amount of $583.87. Anchor is now claiming we agreed to pay them more than the 48 months to resolve this debt. Anchor has been very difficult with over these 4 years and was constantly asking for more money. At one time they resolved one acct. and wanted to pay them $25.00 per month for 7 months which included a $12.00 overnight payment fee and a &2.95 processing fee which meant that only $10.00 per month would have went to the debtor. I asked the Atty. resolving the acct. if I could pay the $175.00 directly to the debtor and he agreed so I paid the debtor $175.00 for the first7 mos. Anchor said it had to be paid in 7 payments so I don't know where my $175.00 went. Anchor will not give me a full acct of exactly where what I have paid in went to resolving which debts by e-mail so I have it in writing. I am pretty sure the have made no attempt to resolve the largest debt which was around $16000.00. I know we accrued this debt but did so at a time when there was a serious illness with one of our children and we did what we had to do to help get him through his illness and into a better place to aid in his recovery. We felt that going through Anchor would help resolve the debt without filing bankruptcy. We feel we have completed our obligation by faithfully making our monthly payment to Anchor Law Firm.

My husband, **** ********, and I had a contract with Anchor Law to settle 7 credit card debts for us. Our agreement with them ended in July, 2021. At that time the had only settled 3 of the debts through funds they collected from us on a monthly basis. 2 debts we had to settle on our own because they were sent to collection. Since September we have been calling them to get a settlement payment for our last 2 debts which are both Barclays cards and total approximately $30,000. Anchor has approximately $9400.00 that they have previously collected from us that can be used to settle this debt. We have told them we will pay the remaining amount within 1 year. We just need Anchor to negotiate the settlement with ******** card for these 2 debts so we can complete our program and be debt free. We've called them multiple times and have gotten nowhere. We just want to use the $9400 towards our debt and payoff the remaining amount but we can't get Anchor to make the arrangements. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Our account number with Anchor is AXXXXXXX. Thank you, ******* ********

I signed a contract with Anchor Law Firm June 2018, they said they would negate a settlement with my credit card and according to the contract save me over 11,000 dollars. I began making payments of 623.00 a month two payments a month 317.00 and 306.00 in June of 2018. I have been making my payments faithfully. My contract is set to end July of this year 2022. Anchor Law firm to date has only paid 10,000 dollars of my debit. I am out of the contract in 5 months and I still have more then half of the credit cards left. To date I have paid Anchor Law Firm nearly 27,000 dollars. I called them because I haven't heard anything from them in nearly a year and I am almost done with the contract. I wanted to make sure I was on the way to the finish line. I was told by their customer service that I am short of paying them off (my credit cards) by 17,000 DOLLARS I got sick to my stomach. I said how is that possible by July 2022 I will have paid them 29,904 and they still wanted 17,000 more. that is a total of 46,904 and my debit was WITHOUT NEGOTIATONS WAS LESS THE 43,000. The estimates in my contract are so far off from what they are telling me now. I haven't heard from them in a very long time and the interest on the cards where just piling up.

I agreed to a credit resolution program with Anchor Law Firm. They quoted me a plan that would settle all of my outstanding credit issues after 52 monthly payments. I never missed a payment, I added extra funds, and actually paid off a couple of creditors independently, but after my schedule was completed, Anchor still had not paid off 3 of my largest creditors and asked me to pay them off separately. I feel that Anchor either took advantage of me knowing that the amount they estimated would never be realized, or that they were totally incompetent, or that they lied (or all three). They received their payments, but did not fulfill their part of the agreement. Now they can say that no settlement is perfect, but it's their one and only job to know exactly how much I needed to pay for the settlements to be completed. I assumed that the percentage would be from 5% to 10%, but it turns out I may need to add over 25% to complete my program. This is totally different from their plan recommendations. They took their fees, but did not complete their part of the program.

I have satisfied my contract with Anchor Law Firm as of October 2021. I contacted the business about the completion of the contract in November 2021 and they assured me that I had "graduated" from their program and I would be receiving final paperwork. As of the end of my program, there was a little more than $1300 that was left over and needs to be refunded back to me. I was told that the refund would be processed and I should have my settlement in mid December. I have called twice at the end of December of 2021. I was told the paperwork had been processed and I should have a refund in 7-10 business. days. The 10th business day was January 12, 2022. I still do not have a refund.

This business takes your money claiming to settle your debts but does not love up to their end. We paid them 40K and I have no record of where the money all went. They settled 5/10 debts, never communicated they failed to come to agreements, never explained where 15k of the 40k went.

Wife and I hired Anchor for a debt consolidation program 4 years ago for a 4 year plan. 2 years ago we received a summons from one of our debtors which was also by far the largest which was 9000. We sent the summons and all other documents to Anchor as we were instructed. We repeatedly asked them about the status of that debt to which they told us multiple times that they were taking care of it or would save it for last. 3 weeks ago my wages began being garnished by this debt which we had repeatedly been assured would be taken care of. When we called and asked about this, we learned that despite receiving all of our documents including the summons, they never sent this to litigation as they were supposed to and now what started as a $9000 debt has increased to nearly 14,000 because of the interest that has accrued over this time period. Their neglect has repeatedly caused us problems and contacting them use a joke half of the time. There have been numerous times where we sat on hold for several HOURS without a response. Our program was supposed to be done this past August and yet we have payments scheduled all the way through NEXT December. Anchor has not been performing the job we have been paying them for and we want it resolved.

In 2018 I began dealing with this company after signing up for a debt settlement program through global client solutions. I was to pay 381 dollars a month and was told that debts would be negotiated and paid. I had 7 accounts entered into the contract with them and was told that they would negotiate the debt on the accounts and to stop making payments. My credit score plummeted but i was told that would happen but it would then get better, which it never did. Anchor law firm only negotiated and settled a few of my debts, meanwhile i was still being harassed by a few credit companies, who continued to report the debt on my credit report after years. After paying them 381 a month from August 2018 till early 2021 with little too nothing done to take care of my debt i decided to cancel my contract with them. Fast forward to now, i am now being sued by one of the creditors that they failed to take care of. This company is a huge scam, they get their money and do little to nothing of what they promised to do.
