              My complaint is with SGT GRIT Marine Specialties which is shown as a division of NLC Products Inc. Prior to this company being acquired by NLC Products I had ordered numerous times without any problem whatsoever. Subsequently I have had problems with recent orders in respect to receiving discounts promoted by them via cards enclosed in orders stating a 15% discount on new orders. I made an order, tried to apply the discount in accordance with the card received by using the code on the card, MARINE 1. The site would not accept the code as shown. I made the order anyway but sent emails on three separate occasions. None of which have been answered, approximately two (2) months. I requested an explanation why a discount card was enclosed in orders, but that they would not honor the discount they advertised. As a retired Sergeant Major of Marines involved in numerous military organizations in the local area I have discussed this lack of customer service with my fellow service members and advised them to use "caveat emptor" when dealing with this website. I await their response.
