Not that it looks like it matters to the company but their customer service and dispatch people are rude. Plain rude. I said that no one is home during the day from 8 to 1 pm. she said well I can put it in the notes. I said I hope no one shows up because no one will be there. She said we will call you an hour before. I said that doesn't matter, no one will be home. there has to be a way around this so that we are not wasting your time or mine . . . . . . . silence on the phone. She repeated what she had said before. All with attitude like I am trying to start a fight. upping the attitude every time she tells me something, pretty sure she is trying to get me riled so she can hang up on me, but I'm not an idiot. Again I said no one will be home between 8 and 1 during the day and that they should make it to where they will come after that and she said well we will just send it back to sender. I accepted the day. But if I'm not home that is ABF's fault and they can reschedule till they get it right or return it to sender. Either way I will be telling the "sender" (who by the way ships a ton of freight) that they should not be using ABF Freight and stick with SAIAABF Freight Response

The worst delivery company in the world. never have good attitude to resolve issue. They have my address and told them my phone number, they said they don’t have phone from the paper so always sent to salvage. Lost $50k due to several failed deliveries. All other delivery companies can reach me or send to me correctly from same shipper, only this company always missed my delivery. Never considered to resolve issue Don’t do business with company. Our delivery person, Brent, out of Roanoke, VA location. Excellent service and very friendly. Kept in touch regarding delivery time, as schedule may change due to unexpected events, traffic and other delays from other customers. Will use again.ABF Freight Response

A scammer company, I shipped a small pallet, they quotes $441.63, I paid it in full. Then after one month, this scammer company charged us another $610.72 and said payment adjustment for classification change. This is compaltely a scam, what I shipped is office suppliies, there is no any poison or dangerous materials, there is no way to add $610.72 more. We have to chrageback with our credit card. Stay away from this scam company, this scammer company is playing "bait and switch" games, never trust their quotes. It seems relatively cheap quote (not cheaper than Tforce or others) turn out the most expensive one. Will never use or recommend this thief company.ABF Freight Response

Horrible experience. Got a 1-hour automated complimentary call, but waited 4 hours for delivery. When I explained to the driver that I was losing time at work to wait this long, he explained he had to take his lunch--but that he was the one that sent the 1-hour message--and couldn't manage to update me on the progress (I know he had my phone number: he tried to call while I was standing in the driveway for him to unload).Review from Justin V

Customer service = 0 stars Coordination = 0.5 stars Pricing = 0 stars Timeliness = 0.5 stars (half a star as they did eventually show up). I had to add the above to get to 1 star. Might be one of the worse run companies on the planet. Good luck.Review from Greg R

Terrible. A 400lb box consisting of a treadmill, was dumped on our driveway with no help from the driver and no way to move it into the house. How do you expect a man and women (over 50's) to lift a 400 lbs box into the house. It was really stressful and took 2 hours and it was over 100 degrees outside. Worst experience in my life and I will no longer be using a freight company. The driver was unfriendly and did not offer any help or assistance. Just dumped the box and left. It completely stressed us both out and both agree to never move anything by freight again. AND it was meant to be a 4 hour window to deliver and it took almost 5 and a half hours!!! AND the box was smashed in and no care was taken with something that cost us almost $5000 !!!
