In the late spring/early summer of 2021 we, Cannon structures, dba Trestlewood LLC, sent a deposit in the amount of $6, 175.00 for the purchase of wood materials from Henry's Cedar Sawmill. We waited for months only to find out that we still wouldn't be getting the materials promised. (See attached invoice). When we were eventually able to speak with ***, the owner/operator, he told us that with it being such a wet winter, he was having a hard time producing the materials. The wet winter (which occurred AFTER our deposit) doesn't explain the first 4 or 5 months of delay. Now, one year later, we still have not been able to receive the materials we paid a deposit for. We have been waiting for a semi load of wood. We have tried several times to contact ***, giving him options for reconciling this matter with us. 1) Send back the deposit payment to us. 2) Send us pictures of material that is ready for us to start to look for a truck. If he could have a load built that is a full load that we could check in the load and pay the balance due upon receipt. 3) We have given the option of making payments of even $500/month in order to reimburse All of this has fell upon deaf ears. At this point, we wish to be reimbursed the deposit of $6,175.00. We do not even trust the product he promised to produce even if things were to change.

Please find a copy of the check we had made for deposit along with the corresponding date.

As a side note, we made the deposit knowing that it would take time for *** to provide the needed materials. Since making the deposit  on 4/29/21, we continued to have interim dealings with *** until later in 2021, when we realized that he had no intention of fulfilling his side of the deal.
