We had a shade structure put up by this company up in *******, *******. This year had a significantly higher snowfall than normal, however, our shade structure fell after just 7.5 months. The company claimed that it was put up according to code. Not sure how they would know since they did not permit it. It was installed on a non-permitted deck, which we only found out when we went to rebuild. They attached the structure to the facia of our house and onto the front plank of our deck instead of to the house and ground. They didnt pitch it in a similar fashion to the roof so when the snow melt began, it melted in between the two and formed a huge ice dam, which eventually pushed it away from the house. Not only was our deck crushed, but so was all the furniture on the deck. The response from the company was they dont do anything about acts of God (snow melt is not considered an act of God) and that they put it up to code. They then told ** that we should just file a claim with our insurance company, even though it had been under a year since they had put it ** and that insurance companies had plenty of money to pay off claims such as ours. Not to mention, we were told that they would put it up better and stronger. Not sure why they didnt do that the first time around. We had numerous licensed contractors from ** in the area come over and tell us that this structure should never have been put ** in our area. To this, the company responded that having a man in a truck with a hammer come over and tell us something didnt mean anything. And that maybe they would put up something that would only last a year. Of course, that would be longer than theirs lasted. I would seriously caution anyone living in an area with snowfall to look into something else. We filed something with ROC but unfortunately, because we dont want to have these people back on our property, they couldnt do anything. But did agree that the structure should not have been put up as it was.

I have photographic evidence if needed. Im not sure why the business is saying that this is a made up claim. Unless there is a completely different Nationwide Sunrooms with the same logo that is operating in the Phoenix area.
