Since December 2024, I have been trying to get to the bottom of why my pet insurance deductions are not reaching *******. MetLife blames Vensure. Vensure blames MetLife. And this has been going on for over ************************************************************************************** ******* who handles pet insurance. Contacting the email address for the Vensure team also results in them having to talk to this one unreachable person in *******. At this point, I have canceled the ******* account and want to make sure no funds are taken out of my next check. ******* has already sent me a letter saying they were going to double charge me for three months to be paid. But Vensure has been taking money out of my bimonthly checks for pet insurance since October. On top of that, I do not understand why Vensure is deducting funds at all considering the group insurance is Nationwide as of January 1, 2025. Deductions should have stopped as soon as Vensure dropped MetLife. Where is my money going? And when are these deductions going to stop?Initial Complaint

Vensure was hired to process payroll runs for *************** (a Connecticut based company). Vensure mishandled the required Connecticut Paid Family Leave tax. This resulted in *************** being pursued by the *********************** for tax returns and payments that as the payroll company ** Vensure was supposed to file **.Vensure withheld money (a total of $80) from several of one employee's payroll direct deposits, but * never * filed the appropriate report and never paid the *********************** the money that was withheld. Vensure still retains this money.Vensure also attempted to circumvent the ** Paid Family Leave Tax by inserting a status of "exempt" into Vensure's records. The *********************** states that NO Connecticut based company is exempt from ** PFL tax if a payroll is run. Vensure ran 12 payrolls for *************** in 2021 and ******* the payroll company authorized to process payrolls for ***************, Vensure was responsible for quarterly ** PFL tax returns and for withholding and then paying the appropriate tax to the Connecticut Paid Leave Authority.Furthermore, Vensure attempted to side-step its responsibility for these returns and the appropriate tax, penalties, and interest by claiming that I needed to contact Connecticut myself. This report is not being filed within the one year limit because I, as the managing partner, have been dealing with other issues, including the untimely death of my business partner and husband. There are other issues related to the company that I also had to pursue and this issue came to the forefront when I had waded through the other issues. Not one of the 12 payrolls that Vensure ran were handled properly. And, it is their business to ** properly execute ** all of the statutes and requirements of the state in which they are running payrolls. They totally ignored the proper handling of the ** Paid Family Leave Tax.If they have done this to my business, there may be ** victims as well.Initial Complaint

Vensure is a benefits administrator. My company health insurance with BCBS and contract with Vensure was supposed to terminate Dec. 31, 2023. On February 29, 2024, I discovered that my BCBS insurance was terminated early on Dec. 1, 2023. I reached out to my employer and we contacted Vensure, who agreed that the early termination was in error. I found out that the early termination of the health insurance affected every employee in the company. On March 14th, Vensure wrote: "Our benefits management will be sending a credit to you for the month of December. BCBS was showing an outstanding balance due (...). Once the credit is received and the premiums for December are paid, then the coverage will be reinstated (...)." We stayed in contact, on April 16, 2024, Vensure's representative wrote, "I apologize again that the refund is taking some time." It's now May 29, 2024. We have inquired with Vensure several times. No refund has been issued. Everyone in our company that went to the doctor in December 2023 is getting medical bills. It's now been 6 months or more since Vensure made the mistake, and 3 months since the time that I pointed it out to them. Vensure did not adminstrate our BCBS insurance properly, and they are taking an excessively long time to fix the problem. Many of us will have to pay bills out of pocket for medical expenses that should have been covered by the insurance that Vensure did not correctly administrate. Medical bills will go to collections if not paid: the bills cannot stay in the provider's system an infinite amount of time while Vensure fails to issue the refund that is needed to pay BCBS to reinstate the insurance for myself and the rest of the company.Initial Complaint

- Nature of dispute: Withholding of employment benefits (*** money of $3200)- Relationship: Vensure was the benefits coordination company for me at my job before I was laid off 1. I enrolled in an *** at the end of 2023 for the 2024 calendar year 2. During my employment, Vensure failed to create an *** account for me in January 3. I was laid off end of January 2024, but had employer benefits extended through the end of February (COBRA documentation states continuation start date would be March 1) 4. I requested the *** account to be reinstated before my benefits coverage elapsed (Feb)5. I had a costly medical procedure done in February 6. Vensure refused to create my *** account retroactively until now; they now request I pay the monthly *** COBRA extension costs (for which enrollment has elapsed; 3 months that have elapsed have been due to their lack of cooperation)Initial Complaint

So I filled out an electronic w-4 for a company I worked for. Without my knowledge or permission, this HR/payroll company (vensure) altered the document and deducted extra funds from me ($59.00) . Now they are blaming me for filing the document incorrectly, something I haven't done in 20 years of working legally. They refuse to give me remedy.Business Response

Absolute incompetence in regards to filing my company's ERTC claim. I have been misled and misinformed throughout this entire process and the incompetence of the company has caused undue financial strain on my company. Every timeline they gave me has been wrong. Every data request has been changed after the fact and I have been provided with only excuses.Initial Complaint

Q2 was supposed to be filed on June. Now I am been told that o wont be receiving it until august 18 when my payroll is supposed to be run on the first week of august. We worked with a payroll company named SBS for a decade before it was apparently purchased by Vensure (Vensure is using multiple business names when communicating with us: Vensure, Vensure Employer Servies, VensureHR, ************** We found out on payroll day that we could not run payroll in the online module. It took hours to actually speak with anyone at their company because every phone number went to voicemail and instructed us to call someone else at the company. The below is not the full list of issues that started with us not being able to process payroll timely in January 2023 because they forgot to give us access to the online payroll portal thru today when they refuse to provide our Federal and State payroll tax filings that they are paid to prepare or the decade worth of payroll information and filings that we had on the online portal which they are going to destroy because they are too busy to migrate the data to their platform. They have not yet filed the 2022 W2/W3 for our entity, which was due 1/31/23. They need to prepare and file it. They need to reimburse us for the fines for filing late. They have not provided us with our 2022 4th quarter or year-end payroll tax filings which we received by 1/15 every year before Vensure took over. We are now being fined because we cannot finish our annual worker's comp payroll audit, it is 2/15/23 today. They need to provide us with the ability to print out paycheck stubs, as required by the *******************. Yes, it's hard to believe this one, I know. They need to migrate our historical payroll data to their new system and give us access to it.They need to stop telling us that they are too busy with their other clients and provide us with the services that we pay them for.Any help resolving any of these issues would be appreciated. Our account numbers with Vensure:S0212 - **************************** L0880 - Four ***************************** Thank youBusiness Response

Initially, the client was attempting to reach out to Payroll, but was redirected to Client Support. This team was better equipped to manage all non-payroll inquiries. Additionally, the client contacted two other internal team members for assistance. The client will be receiving a W-2/W-3 tax package via email today. Multiple attempts have been made to contact the client (call) without success.
