    Geneva Financial is one of the Best Companies in the Industry. They are very Ethical and they get things done in a timely manner. I highly recommend them for Loan Officers and Clients. You cant go wrong with this Company.

    Last week, we submitted an offer on a property in *******, and our agent communicated that we had reached a verbal agreement on the price, along with some additional stipulations on your end, which we promptly accepted. However, when the contract was to be revised and signed by us, we were surprised to find a substantial increase in the agreed-upon price.This unforeseen change was disheartening and, frankly, not in line with the professional standards we expected. It is perplexing to comprehend how such a significant alteration could occur after initial agreement. This incident has left us and our agent in a state of confusion.Upon researching your company further, we came across negative comments on the Better Business Bureau Additionally, we received a message from our agent stating that the bank would pull the listing if the price wasn't agreed upon promptly. This felt like an ultimatum, and while I acknowledge there may be potential misunderstandings, it was an unexpected and unwelcome development.My husband, an experienced real estate investor who has dealt with numerous REO properties from various banks over the years, has never encountered such a situation. We had envisioned this property as our new home, not merely an investment, and this experience has been disheartening.While it is unusual for me to share negative feedback, the frustration stemming from this situation compels me to communicate our disappointment. I sincerely hope that someone within your organization takes note of our concerns and works towards resolving this matter appropriately.

    I submitted a Notice to Cancel a REFI loan and Geneva ignored the notice and funded the loan. I requested Geneva honor the Notice to Cancel. Even the Loan Officer knew about the Notice to Cancel. Why did he not stop the loan from funding? Geneva Ignored us. I filed a complaint with Consumer Financial ****************** Geneva Responded to CFPB on 8-9-2022 that they would refi our loan back to pre-Notice to Cancel to make us whole. To date Geneva has taken no steps to complete the requirements in the response. Do not trust this Geneva Financial. It can happen to you. Protect your rights. The Notice to Cancel is under the Truth in Lending Act, Was created in 2008 after the *********** disaster to protect consumers from Lenders taking this kind of action.

    I was introduced electronically to ******* (a Branch Manager) via a salesperson that I was contracting with for a bathroom remodel. He was very prompt at returning my call and emailed me a list of the required documentation that was needed for the loan process to begin. After sending all of my personal information, he was much slower to respond, and frankly, I began to wonder about identity theft. I withdrew the application and asked for a letter from the company acknowledging receipt of my personal documents and the subsequent withdrawal of my application. After several attempts, I heard back from the Branch Manager with "it comes from corporate and can take 30 days". I waited 30 days and sent another email to him with a warning that I would file a complaint with the BBB in three business days if the issue was not resolved. This time I received an immediate response and it was "I've reached out to Corporate and am waiting to hear back". I want a letter for my records that clearly states the facts regarding my application and My withdrawal of it. Identity theft is real. ******* seems like a nice guy but, under the circumstances, that's not enough.

    Told I would get extra cash to pay off loan, never received, found out after closing. This put my budget in a jam Also repeatedly ask for the same paperwork I had already sent. Wouldn't return calls. Closing put off over and over again. Interest rate higher than previously stated. Not really any good to say about this company.

    TERRIBLE customer service. Loan processor **** was a complete arrogant jerk with zero customer service skills. There was no communication unless it was bad communication. They lost documents. I had to send and resend them multiple times. They forgot to lock my rate costing me my loan. I have bought homes before and I have NEVER experienced anything like this in my life. They wasted 3 months of my time and I lost thousands of dollars because of these idiots. Please stay away from them. I cant beg you enough. Dont even pick up the phone to call them. They will destroy you.

    The process of applying for the loan, filling out paperwork, and the overall flow was fine. I had terrific communication with *****************. ***** sent a very disrespectful email during the process. This was during a period when COVID was in the household and I had to take time away from gathering loan documents (I was given a time expectation of around a month to be able to collect the documents, which I brought up in an email). While trying to get a 'payoff letter' I had issues getting this from my previous ***************** After about the 6th call to their customer service, I was told to have ***** call with me. I requested this time and time again from *****, but he just kept ignoring the request and telling me different words for things to ask for, eventually getting ****** involved in an email chain. She was able to finally get me the information I needed to ask the right question and get the document required.During the process we had been told time and time again we would be able to take out cash to pay off the roof on the home. When we closed ***** told us plainly it would fund within the week in a text message.After two weeks I reached out to *****, who told me it should have been direct deposited. I checked my digital copy of the documents and as I correctly remembered, no one asked us for direct deposit information. After contacting ***** again his response was, 'Then it must be sent via check'. I texted that evening, then again the next morning, nothing. I was panicking, worried that the check had been taken out of our mailbox while on vacation or at work. So, I reached out to ****, who informed me that we would not be getting cash back at all. Nothing. It had all gone to pay off a lien that was on the property when we purchased it. Our sweat equity, absorbed by a lien created by the previous owner.***** led us to believe something untrue about our loan, just to get it signed and completed. I feel violated and sick. I don't have words.
