1 starWe have purchased 2 M class BMW's from this dealership in the last 2 years along with a used vehicle. On the used vehicle purchase we also purchased a service contract that was handled by a company called First Automotive. The transmission went out so we took it to a reputable tranmisstion shop and it was the worst experience dealing with First automotive. We found out when we purchased the vehicle and service contract we were only given the first page of a 12 page contract, I question if that's legal? The transmisstion shop was great, however they have told us they will never do business with First Automotive again and we ended up coming out of pocket $400 dollars because they wouldn't pay the full invoice for the repair and the contract states we only have to pay a $100 deductable. We will be purchasing another M class X5 next year but I can tell you it will not be here.. Do better Chapman... Where's the other 11 pages of our service contract?Review fromJon S

1 starTheir finance managers had better learn that adding gap insurance to someones contract without asking them, and then pushing it along when theyre signing, their paperwork is actually illegal. I let the finance manager get away with this because I knew that it was illegal and Im going to pursue legal action. I like to watch people hang themselves.Review fromRyan W

1 starI purchased a new vehicle and took delivery in June, 2022 and immediately experienced an issue with the brakes, specifically an extremely loud brake noise. This was completely separate from the already annoying break squealing that can occur with performance vehicles. I took it to the dealership to have them look at it, and they were unable to replicate the noise. I then had a friend take a video to capture the noise the brakes were making, and brought the vehicle back to the dealership. They said they would have a field engineer take a look at it, but that he wouldn't be there for a couple months. After about 6 months, they finally had the field engineer listen to the sound. I received communication from ***** at the service department, stating the engineer said there was something wrong with the brakes, and that they would get back to me with a resolution. After waiting for months, no one ever got back to me. I followed up with *****, and he said I had to reach out to *** of ***** *******. I made contact with **** at *** of ***** America early January, 2024 and he promised me a phone call back within 5 business days. He never called me back, so I follow up with *** of ***** ******* in April, and after playing phone tag several times with ****, he told me that there was nothing they could do, and said I had to get it resolved through the dealership, and the dealership said I had to get it resolved through *** of ***** *******. I've been getting pawned off back and forth, and I was told today there was nothing they could do. I've been dealing with this issue for almost 2 years now, without a resolution. I've spent over $100,000 on this vehicle that still has brake issues, and I'm taking further action to try to achieve recourse in the form of a brake replacement under the vehicle's manufacture warranty.Review fromIsis S

1 starI took my car to this dealer because they gave me a diagnostic in march ************************************************** April 2023 the car died and sat in my garage until November 2023 when I decided to take it to an auto shop. This shop told me I needed an alternator during their diagnostic. I decided to take the car back to Chapman bmw because I trusted their diagnostic although it was over priced. Anyhow, I brought the car back to Chapman bmw and they wanted $2,000 to fix the alternator. I received a quote to replace the alternator for less than half of what Chapman was charging so I declined the offer of $2,000 to fix the alternator. I went to pick up the *** which we drove there and it wasnt working so they said I needed to tow it. Before I could tow it they said I needed to pay $248 for their diagnostic. I told them I already had one from the previous car shop and they said it didnt matter they needed to draw their own conclusion which was the same??? When I took the car in I explained I just received a diagnostic stating the alternator needed to be fixed why would I pay $250 for information I already knew? They didnt care and made me pay anyways. Otherwise they werent going to release the car to the tow company. ********************* assisted me and I wouldnt recommend him to anyone unless you feel like wasting money. By the way the new diagnostic doesnt show the drive belt needs to be fixed, when I asked about that he said it was just a recommendation. I will never purchase a *** again.Review fromEric S

1 starI have been dealing with Chapman BMW Chandler now for two months. In that time frame I have brought my car in 3 separate times for repairs. The first time I picked up my car the dash was damaged, the sensor issue wasn't repaired, and my A/C was repaired. I paid. The second time I brought the car in I was told the system was reset. I paid more. I picked up the car with the same sensor issues, rough idles, and now intermittent shut offs. The third time, I brought the car in, I was told nothing was wrong, that Chapman would not pay for damages to my dash, and their recommended maintenance was not covered. I picked up my car and immediately encountered ALL the same issues I brought the car in for. My warranty covers repairs. All instructions and service history was in the trunk of the car. This was explained to my service manager upon drop off. I even asked where I would keep the papers so they'd be accessible. I also have only had car maintenance completed by Chapman BMW ******* since owning the car. I was referred to Chandler. However, I was told by Chandler after 3 visits, escalated phone calls to management, and texts that "Chapman Chandler has no record of customer history with me". The employees at Chapman Chandler are incompetent and dishonest. I find it quite rich that you make customers sign disclosures, take my driver's license, and insurance info for your loaner cars to ensure that customers will cover any damages to the car while in their possession. My car was damaged while in YOUR possession and you've done absolutely nothing. In fact my car was left in the sun again to face more possible damage. *** Chandler services hundreds of cars. You have the means to cover ANY repairs that occur. How is it with a dealership filled with *** certified mechanics, no one can see when something is wrong? I should've been told right away if they didn't know how to fix the car... Not dragged along for two months. Why have I been treated so poorly?Review fromAlicja K

1 starIf I could give them zero stars I would. Shady business practices, they lie and when confronted they chastised me like I was a dumb mom pat me on the back admitted they messed up and told me they would buy me a lunch. ******************* the finance manager gave me some sob story about not getting enough sleep and that is why he messed up. I wouldnt wish this experience on anybody.Review fromEugene V

2 starsI bought not one but two 2023 BMW in 4/23 and I already have an idiot light on in my X3 and they are refusing to give me a loaner for one day. I would have been treated better at the Chrysler dealership and most likely I would not have an idiot light on in a vehicle this new. Pathetic
