      I purchased a monthly membership some time ago. It was the second membership I've had with Ocean Blue but my initial membership had been canceled since 2021. I went online to cancel my membership and the cancelation form asks for first and last name, barcode number, license plate number, and state, among other information. I input all of the information that was asked, using the sticker on my windshield, my current vehicle information, and my maiden name because I thought I purchased it under that name. I received a confirmation page and email saying that I successfully canceled my membership. Weeks later, I received another monthly charge so I called to clear it up. It was explained to me that I canceled the old membership...the one that was inactive and canceled since 2021. I asked how that could happen since I put my current sticker number on the form. She said it was because I used my the last name that was tied to the original account, rather than my current married name. I reiterated that I input my current account sticker number on the cancelation form, and I received a confirmation that my account had been successfully canceled. There was no error given and no reason for me to believe that the cancelation of my current account was not successful. She said that she did not design the software, it is not her software so essentially, not her problem. **********, it is a website that the company has chosen to use for management of customer accounts. It is a system issue, not a customer issue. All I sought was a refund on the month that should never have been charged to begin with. Instead, I was offered excuses, blame, and argument and told that I can keep using the carwash through a date in May...even though I no longer have the sticker to access the wash, nor was I offered one.

      Today January 4th, 2024 @ 12:47pm I took my 2014 Tesla Model S to ocean blue in cottonwood with my son as he enjoys being inside while the car is washed and the car wash completely ripped off its front grille including the electrical connections! I drove away and stopped at ******** one mile away to get an icee and the moment I got out of my Tesla and locked it I noticed the front grill missing. I immediately drove back to ocean blue to talk to the managers and show them the damage. The thinner younger manager was nice and knew what happened and came out of his office with my front grill in his hands and gave me the insurance damage form. As Im filling it out another employee a little shorter with a tattoo behind his left ear told me that based on a scratch on my front bumper that ocean blue isnt liable and that my front grill mustve been out at least 1/4 for it to be completely ripped off by the car wash machines and that ocean blue isnt responsible bc of the disclaimer to the right of the entrance that obviously no one can read or see as we all enter to the left as the guy gives us a dashboard wipe and car freshener. He said that ocean blue doesnt cover cars that are over 7 years old. I couldnt believe he wouldnt take responsibility and said theres nothing that can be done. We have 3 monthly memberships for all our cars and its unacceptable to be treated like I did something wrong. I made sure they both let me into the office and showed me the cameras and I took a ******************* clearly showing the brushes ripping off my front grill and then other cars behind me running over it. I expect ocean blue to replace my front grill and repair the electrical connections that were ripped out. This is no way to treat a valued customer. All I wanted was a clean car and now I am unable to drive it at night. I am devastated and am still in shock that I am deemed responsible when the cameras and video show the brushes ripped it off. Please do the right thing??

      Thank you for reaching out. We know this is a frustrating experience and we apologize for the inconvenient. As you provided in your picture, your car does have preexisting damage and is over 7 years old, so unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility because we don't know the integrity of the vehicle and if there is anything internally damaged. As you can see by the many other vehicles before and after you, the wash is safe, and the only way for it to take your trim off is if it's loose already as the district manager explained that day. While the car wash is typically safe, there are risks to vehicles over 7 years and with preexisting damage that you are taking the risk by washing in a tunnel full of moving equipment. There are multiple disclaimers posted for this reason. The one by the tunnel that you mentioned and there's one at each pay station before you pay. However, we would like to try and help by offering you 2 free months on each membership for the inconvenience and to help offset the cost for you.       On 10/23/2024 at 5pm I went to Ocean *************************. I drive a 2020 **** F-150 *************** upon entering I cracked the window to receive the fresher and dash wipe from the attendant and asked clearly hey do I need to pop my mirrors in? To which he ignored me and had motioned for me to enter. Immediately on entering the rollers that wash knocked both my drivers and passenger side mirrors completely outward. In a panic I asked my husband oh my god should I roll the windows down really quick and pop them in? But it was too late as water and soap were being dispensed. Immediately after the rollers ripped my drivers side mirror down, breaking it completely and leaving it hanging on with the wires used to adjust them. We exited and immediately spoke to ***** ******* who apologized, took photos, and taped the drivers mirror and told us to go to ************ to file an insurance claim. We arrived at **** and were immediately told oh I read all this in our group chat were not covering it you had damage to begin with then I was told we were wanting something for nothing, and it was said in the group chat I was called a ***** for attempting to make them pay for something that isnt their fault. I called them on 10/24/24 and ****** apologized stating a district manager would contact me. Here we are 10/28 and nothing. ****** tells me today they wont cover it, thats why there are disclaimers (***** stated on 10/23 they ORDERED signs they just havent arrived yet) and video footage proves there was damage prior. When I asked where this damage was I was given the run around. ****** refused to allow me to speak to anyone higher than she (an office manager) and therefore my husband had to go back to iron location to speak to the regional manager on site today. Still given a run around, refusal to allow me to file a claim, denial they are responsible, told no on will call you we arent paying for this so I now have to pay over $1,000 when I did nothing.

However, upon reviewing everything, no one ever called you a "*****" nor said you want something for nothing in any groups, and we have ALWAYS had disclaimers so not sure what signs you are referring to? Yes, your mirror has scuff marks which indicates prior damage and that's not something we typically will cover because we do not know the integrity of the mirror. However, talking with upper management, we went ahead and ordered a new mirror for your truck. Someone will reach out to you with further information. We do recommend folding your mirrors, but it is up to you, while it is typically safe there is always a chance, and you are taking the risk. This is why we do have disclaimers. Mirrors don't just typically break off unless they are already loose, weak or damaged which is why we initially said no, but we want to help you out and get you taken care of.       On 10/05/24 their carwash damaged the underside of our car. Something grabbed a hold of it and slammed the bottom repeatedly and violently. It shredded the undercarriage crash shield. They did not even turn off the car wash for about a minute while it repeatedly banged away on our car. I finally had to lay on the horn to get their attention. I filled out a report, as they requested, but a week later they said they would not pay the damages. When I called and inquired some guy named ** (refused to give his last name) got really snotty with me. I have cancelled my membership on both our cars with them. I will never use another Ocean Blue carwash again.

      We do not have a SJ, and none of our managers are rude or snotty, so not sure who you spoke to? There appeared to be a piece already hanging and that is what cause you to get stuck. We wash hundreds of cars daily with NO issue, so the wash is not going to discriminate against your car only.       I visited Ocean Blue Car Wash on *************** in ******** on Saturday, September 21st, 2024 at around 5:00pm to have my car washed through their automatic process. When I completed the car wash, I discovered that the passenger mirror had been torn off my car. The mirror was also hanging on by the wire, and thus scratched the side of my car in several places as it went through the wash. I have received a quote from two places to repair this damage, with both places quoting me around $1,000 to fix the damages. I went to speak to an employee on site and was told since there are signs out front and a disclaimer, that they were not responsible for the damages to my vehicle. I was refused any contact information for someone higher up that I could speak to about the incident despite the employee i spoke with telling me that he was too low in the chain of command to do anything. On Monday I called their main sight on highway 69 and was told directly that they do not cover damages to mirrors and that they would not be paying for the damages. I was once again denied the ability to speak to someone higher up in the chain of command. When handling the issue I was told by my insurance agent and two different auto body shops in ******** that they had other customers who had the exact same thing happen to them (i.e. the mirrors were taken off their cars at this location when going through the automatic wash). One of the employees at the car wash also told me, This car wash broke my mirror as well, but they wont do anything about it. It is clear that this has happened to multiple people. Their disclaimer states that they do not cover vehicles over seven years old, however, my vehicle is a 2020 model and thus only four years old. The resolution I seek is to pay for damages caused by the car wash to my vehicle.

      I signed up for a monthly carwash membership in January 2024. In March I relocated out of state and in April notified Ocean Blue vis telephone to cancel my membership. The next month the charge appeared again so I reached out again. It is now April and I am still bring charged five months later $20 each month. i called today and was told they dont give refunds but would give me a gift card which of course is useless where I live.

      Ocean blue has signed me up for a recurring charge on  on my credit card without informing me about a membership. I saw nothing on their screen asking me or telling me of this when i used my credit card. I thought i was paying for only one month not a membership. 
      I received a text saying my credit card did not go through for the next month of membership which i did not want to do. I clicked on link and unsubscribed my membership and i did so . A week later i received another text saying my credit did not go through. I clicked on link again and unsubscribed my membership i did not want. The next week i received another text . This time i called them up and demanded they unsubscrbe me. She asked my last name and said she would make sure i was removed.

      I would like them to be held 
      Accountable for attempting to take money from my credit card when i never authorized this and also their link did not successfully remove me from membership after doing so twice and their online website said i was successfully removed and they tried a third time.
      Their should be stricter laws againts these corporations that automatically sign a consumer up for recurring charges just for using a credit card. Especially with warning the consumer what they are getting involved. 
      There should be a check box and require a signature saying the consumer is allowing these types of actions toward or against a consumers credit card.
      Ocean Blue is taking advantage of consumers this way. To include the elderly and people with mental health issues and all walks of life!

      We’re not a corporate company and you actually did agree to monthly charges. We explain it, have you fill out a card and initial and sign the card authorizing the monthly charges, you have to hit Agree on the screen when you purchase it that covers the terms and conditions and prints them for you, as well as we give you a copy that’s attached the card. We apologize if you misunderstood what you were signing up for, but we cover all our bases. We also apologize for the inconvenience for the messages, it was canceled when you requested so we will reach out to the company that sends the message to let them know your experience so we can make sure it doesn’t happen again. And you ocean blue attempted a total of 3 times to take money from credit card after i opted out /  unsubscribed from your service twice. The third time is when i called you and had the lady on phone remove my name from your membership that i never asked for and did not sign for to begin with.

      1I have proof that you attempted several times to remove money from my credit card . The key word here is attempt ! You obviously do not read what i am telling . And no i did not receive any form to sign and there was nothing to click on when and where i inserted my credit card . And my phone call was not cut short by your phone operator. She took my name and guaranteed me that my subscription was cancelled. I did not yell i spoke very firmly yes .  I want to mitigate this situation and willing to work with you but  if i have to i will take this to litigation. Read what i say !

      I went to the ocean blue car wash on ***************** in ********, *******. The right side of my bed on my pick up truck was damaged. They tell me they can't see anything sing. We don't fix cars if they're over 7 years old. Call ***** few times they don't return. My calls totally ignore me completely. All I want is my truck fixed? Got an estimate at the Paintless debt repair for $412. I believe this happened on 429. Between 3 and 4 o'clock, they said they'd look at the videos all I get is crickets.

      We already explained and the answer is still the same, this is not something we can cover. You got the quote on your own and came back days later without reporting it. The damage couldve occurred anywhere and our cameras show no damage. Our wash isnt going to cause dents and this is not something we are going to accept.       And they're just doing what they're told.
      That's too bad it's a great company.

      The Adult managers are trained and understand cars. You left and came back days later with a quote without making a claim and our cameras show no damage before or after washing. Yes, we always take accountability for damage caused by equipment malfunction or employee negligence which wasnt the case with your vehicle. Being 7 years or older means things get worn out over time and break or wear out easier.       I came in and got a monthly subscription for $19.99 from the same manager at the ************ location that I later cancelled my subscription within December 2023. The kind manager took me into the back, got my information and cancelled the account right in front of me. This is on a credit card so I assumed that they would honor the request and cancel the service since we no longer had the vehicle and no longer stay in ********, but my CPA found that there are four charges on my account. I have disputed in with my credit card company since beginning of March and on the 14th of March and April they continued to charge on my account. I called and spoke to an abrasive and rude office manager that advised that she is the corporate person and only person to speak to in which she was extremely unprofessional and condescending. She wanted to tell me that she is not responsible for balancing my check book and some other derogatory things. I hung up on her because for a company to employ such a tactless person it's not for any more of my time to be wasted speaking to someone like that. I do not do business with companies that operate with deception and mislead their customers. I did everything I was supposed to cancel this service and for her not to apologize after seeing I had not used the service since *** and give the errored money back speaks volume for their business ethics and lack thereof.

      On October 23rd 2023, l went into Ocean Blue Car Wash and was approached by an employee of ************* and informed me that l could for the price of ***** l could have unlimited car wash for the month. If it was something l wanted to continue l was to notify Ocean Blue Car Wash to continue service and keep taking money out of my account but if not service would end after 30 days. So l was not happy with the service. Then on December 22 l noticed that Ocean Blue Car Wash had been taken money out of my account for both November and December, so l notified them of why they were taking money out of my account since l never said l was going to continue, They canceled my account but had already removed money on the same day that it was canceled. When asked why l was not refunded my money, l received no answer.

      We dont tell people its only one month as it is a membership that bills monthly until canceled just like any other membership such as ******* or a gym. This is all explained in the terms and conditions you agree to when you sign and initial the card. We apologize if this is something that you misunderstood or wasnt made clear enough.
