I signed up for a CCW class on August 16. The class was delayed multiple times and but finally started. I attended the course and was told the course certificate would be emailed to me so I could file with the Department of Public Safety, I have made multiple attempts to contact the business via email, text, ******** and phone calls. None have been answered except when I called with a different number and then I was told that ****** (owner) would follow up with instructors, **** and *******, to get me my certificate. He has not followed up and I have continued to make attempts to follow up and have not gotten any response. I want my certificate for course completion.

On August 18, 2023, I paid for a CCW class conducted by Safe Arizona Firearms Education. The education was great, and I really enjoyed the course. In fact, I had recommended the course to family and friends because I was impressed with the company. However, my impression of them took a turn when I didn't receive the product I purchased. The instructor ********************* and his wife offered self-defense products at the time of the class. I purchased 2 Kuba tons for $20, they had run out of product and had offered to ship the product to me. I provided them my information and I have yet to see it. They also offered to send in the application along with the necessary paperwork for an additional fee. They informed me I would see my permit in 90 days. I tried contacting the company via email and phone. The phone number just rings and the only one email replied I received was not helpful at all. Their reply was, " Sure thing :) What city are you in." They have horrible customer service and very unprofessional. Over 90 days has passed, and I contacted ******* unit, and they did not find my information. In total I invested $110 in this company. This company is horrible and a rip off. I may not see their karma but one day, it will happen for this company. I DO NOT recommend this company.

I took their CCW permit class back on May 9th ****************************** ****************. I was impressed and liked the class very much. I paid for the class $40, fingerprints $20 as well as them to submit my CCW permit application $60 to **DPS. I knew it would take some time to process my application. Well after contacting the ** DPS on October 21st 2023 for the status of my application I was told there is no application under my name and when was my check for the application deposited? I told them that the persons given the class was going to handle that process. I emailed the company regarding this issue and have never got a reply. I was hesitant and still gave them some time, me thinking they were pretty busy. I sent them a FB message and actually got a reply saying they will look into the matter. Still haven't received any information. On October 22 I sent them another email and still no reply. On November 28th 2023 I posted on their ******** page asking about my status and my post was immediately removed. I also left an unsatisfactory review on their ******** page as well as their Yelp page and I was immediately blocked by them. I did not want to take it to this step, but after no contact from them I had no choice. I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after them not contacting me and blocking me I had no choice.

I have absolutely no way to reach this person. When I try to call, it gives me an automated system about unsolicited calls and will not connect. When i text there is no response, and when I email, there is no response. He was banned from the ******** page for this exact reason as it appears there is no interest in resolving the situation. If this person can unblock my number from whatever system he has in place, respond to a text, or respond to an email, this issue can be resolved quick. However, as mentioned, it appears as though he has no interest in getting the problem fixed.

I went to this class in June of 2023 and paid this company to mail out all of my information. Three months later i contacted ADPS and they told me that they have no information on me. No pending applications or anything. I contacted the person in charge of SAFE Arizona and he said come to my next seminar and we will re-do everything. After him repeatedly canceling class after class I finally (two months later) found him and had him re-do all the paperwork. now we are in November and ADPS still does not have my information. Im out 80 bucks and more importantly do not have my CCW.

Your packet was delivered. It has been less than 2 weeks, and DPS can take up to ************************************************************ the beginning of November.

The chase cashiers check number is 9435353039. They have not gotten to it yet.

I signed up to take this CCW class from Safe Arizona Firearms Education on August 8, 2023 and paid $50.00 for the class at that time. I attended the class on August 19, 2023 and was told that I would have everything that I needed to send in to Arizona ********** of ****** Safety for my concealed carry permit at the end of the class. I mailed in all the paperwork that they gave me and they sent it back saying that I was missing adequate documentation. On September 16, I sent a text to the class instructor, *****************************. He replied back saying that I was missing the certificate, I asked him if he could send me a copy of the certificate and his reply was, Yes. I can do that. Hang tight. I never heard anything back from him. On September 28th, I texted him again, asking him about the certificate. I never received a reply. On October 9th, I sent him an email asking again about the certificate and still had no response from him. I was not able to leave a message on his phone because the mailbox was full. I would like to get my $50.00 back so that I can find a company that will provide me what I need.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

I signed up for a *** class through my insurance company's website, to be taught by this company. On the day of the class, the instructor no-call/no-showed. After multiple attempts at reaching the owner, ********************, I learned that the class had been cancelled due to the instructor "being sick". The individual who opened the building up for us, informed us that this is not the first time that this has happened, and was quite annoyed himself. I finally got a call-back from ********************, and he offered me a class that had just started, about an hour away. I accepted, even though it was a major inconvenience. After the class was over, we learned that several of the services that had been advertised, such as taking the *** packet to DPS for the students, were not available. When we asked when we would be getting our certificate, we were told we should have it emailed that night, or the next day. It is now a week later, and as of this writing, I have received no certificate. All attempts by me to contact ******************** have been ignored. At this point, I need to speak to ************************ attorney or legal representation to resolve this matter. If that does not occur, I fully intend to recover my losses in a court of law, most likely small claims court. Regardless of the financial aspect and outcome to this matter, I will be filing an inquiry and complaint with Arizona DPS, the agency responsible for *** permits. I do not believe ******************** should be teaching firearms safety and responsibility, after dealing with his unprofessional and unbusinesslike conduct. I do hope that ******************** will consider his actions concerning his business moving forward.

****** has, at this point, received his certificate. He has not emailed once until last night, and has only texted and called a phone number only used for outbound text messages.

As mentioned, certain instructors offer delivery services. The one he was scheduled for originally offers it, the one he went to did not.

His certificate has been delivered, and this situation is now closed.

******************** is correct, as the certificate was emailed last night, after I had filed this complaint. HOWEVER, the rest of the complaint stands, and needs to be addressed. There is a pattern of complaints both on the BBB, as well as many other sources. This is a complex matter, that extends past simple inconveniences. As stated in my complaint, it would be best if ************************ attorney reaches out to me. Until that happens, or this matter is resolved in a court of law, my complaint stands, and is not closed. I will pursue all legal avenues to address the myriad issues both myself, and others have experienced with ******************** and Safe Arizona Firearms Education.

This case is closed. *********** received all services he paid for. He did not check in with the instructor as he was directed to when he showed up, causing his name not to appear on the list, which is the reason he did not receive his certificate the same time as everyone else. His certificate was sent at the first availability when I discovered it was not sent.

He also, against what I told him, attempted to text and call on a phone number that is only used for outgoing text messages. When I called him, I advised him to reach out on the number he was called from.. he also said I did not respond to his emails, which is also incorrect. I do not have one email from him aside from his threatening letter he sent.

All services have been rendered, and at this point, the amount of time I am willing to spend on this individual has reached its apex.

There is no further need for communication via BBB. My attorney will be contacting ********************, along with the appropriate agencies responsible for CCW permits in Arizona. It is unfortunate that this situation was not resolvable, and needed to go to a further level. Any and all communication from ******************** will need to be through my counsel.

I went to a gun show, and this person, ******, was in attendance. He seemed like a knowledgable gun enthusiast, and he told me he was a Veteran, so I signed up for his class in Mesa in November 2021. I attended and purchased a few of his other baubles and trinkets. I paid extra to have the fingerprints done on-site. I also paid extra for him to hand deliver it down to Phoenix instead of having to drive it there myself or ********* it. I had heard that it could take a few months to get your CCW. So I waited. And I waited. And I didn't get anything in the mail. So I called to see what the hold-up was. They had NO record of my application. This loser stole my money! I have reached out to him several times to try and make it right. I texted, called, (the voicemail box is full), and emailed him. No answer, surprise! The dude KNOWS he stole my money. Probably got out of the class and ripped my paperwork up and pocketed the money. I understand that he's a gunsmith and an FFL dealer. That's a shame. I would never deal with this guy again.

The contents of this complaint are a complete lie. I have looked through my records and found no missed calls from the number provided. The only email was from November of 21 asking for the status of her permit... 3 weeks after the class.  There are no text messages either. Absolutely no communication was made aside from a website contact from this person asking to sign up for more class earlier this weekend.

      .

my records show the packet was delivered on November 10th 2021. I've DPS has the packet, it is completely out of my hands.

What the business owner reported on BBB was factually incorrect. I called his business line/cell phone  multiple times from my work phone and other phone numbers because I thought he was screening my calls. I texted him multiple times because his business number voice mailbox is full, and is always full. I emailed him through his business email and also submitted emails through his business website. His last text communication with me was in July 2022, after that point he became nonresponsive. This is why I escalated my complaint to yelp and ****** as well as through BBB.

During our recent text conversation, he denied responsibility for *** "losing" my paperwork. He does not in fact have any receiving documentation with my information because *** has no record of my application. When I called *** in July, they reported no record of any documentation with my name or social security number. I asked them if there would indeed be a record if there was information missing and the person I spoke with said yes, they would have a record of something. This business person still has my personal information and he kept a large portion of the money he was paid to submit to ***.

I had originally requested from him either a copy of the completion certificate (which I did not receive after taking his class in November 2021) and another completed set of my fingerprints OR to attend another class for free so that I could complete and submit the packet myself. After arguing back and forth via text, he gave me a $40 refund for the class via venmo. What I did not receive back was my $20 for fingerprinting or the $60 money order from the **** for the *** application.

I wish to have this information added to my case. This person has a very dubious business history and if you consult his yelp page, he went through a period of time with multiple complaints very similar to mine. I wish members of the public to know this person is a dishonest business person and that he still owes me money for a class I took, and he did not file my paperwork as he was paid to do. He accepted my application and the application fee knowing it was incomplete and that *** would refuse it. I never received my application and fingerprints returned to my **** PO Box.

      Thank you,
      ***************************

I do in fact have a ************* that shows when her documents were delivered.

The statement she never received a certificate is also a lie. Everyone in our Claes gets 2 copies.

The statement that we still have her personal information is incorrect. The statement that we still have her money is a flat out lie. As per my discussion with this individual, the money paid for her class was refunded completely ($20 as a duscounted rate signing up at a y in Show). The money for her fingerprinting (which was provided by an outside company) was also refunde.. this was specifically discussed and can be proven via screen shots of our text messages.  This can be proven as acceptable by this person via text messages. I have screen shots.

The only conversation i have from her, also provable via screen shots of the text messages and emails, was her asking in July where her permit was. I advised her to check dps. That was the last contact I have. Then she started in on personal attacks and immature name calling.  It was at that point she agreed... specifically... to be refunded the $20 for the class and $20 for the finger prints. The $60 is not something I keep, it is not money paid to me, if she wants that back, she is going to have to contact the institution she made the money order our to and get it back from then.

As I said to her, she has been refunded. I have no interest in working with her. She will need to find another instructor to work with. Any farther public attempts to make false statements will be forwarded to our attorney.
