Disgusting FEAR tctics to SELL CRDIT ***************** insurance to ELDERLY clients !Barret brokered the Mtg for me. Im 90 years old ! I am paying off my Mtg that I took out. BEWARE of Barret - they keep sending me postcards ! POSTCARDS with ALL MY PERTINENT INFORMATION ! And then also on the postcard - IT SAYS TO CALL THEM IMMEDIATELY !! WHY ??? So they can make MORE MONEY !!!!!!! ********** BROKERS !Sales tctics like this SHOULD NOT BE LEGAL ! Especially to treat an elderly Widow Woman like this !!My NEW JOB is to write my congressman and to write the Federal Trade Commision and the ATTORNEY GENERAL here in ***** ! 1 star. My experience with Barrett Financial Group and loan agent ****** ******* was terrible. From the start of the process, she was unreachable and unprofessional. My realtor and I had to contact her supervisor several times because she was unreachable. I was unable to close on the property because the buyer and his agent refused to do any business with the loan agent due to her being unreachable and setting closing dates that were not possible due to her negligence with my file. The loan agent set closing dates knowing that not all of the documents had been properly filed. As a result of the loan agent's negligence, I was unable to close on the property and l also lost my ******* money. The entire experience with Barrett Financial was costly and horrible, and they have terrible customer service. I lost money, time, and a good investment doing business with Barrett Financial Group.Review fromShannen R

Completely miserable experience. We provided all of our information well ahead of time, only for our new estimate to come out completely inaccurate the day we needed our closing disclosure in order for everything to stay on track. Horrible communication, showed up with multiple duplicate credit charges and excluding multiple sources of income without any warning. And then just completely condescending and gaslighty when we pointed out they messed everything up.Barrett Financial Group

Our investigation revealed that while much of the issue stemmed from actions at the investor level, there were also multiple stakeholders and third parties engaged in efforts to secure approval and closure of your loan application. Throughout this process, our systems operate under strict automation to ensure compliance with federal lending regulations. Changes made by team members can trigger updated Closing Disclosures (CDs), which are subsequently corrected upon reconciliation of invoices with the lender and title company. We acknowledge that this process can lead to confusion when clients receive multiple versions of corrected CDs.

Hi I was dealing with a loan officer named *************************** I think that's how you spell his name..Anyway he said I got approved for a loan of **** they sent me a check for ***** an I was to send the difference to some Orphanage for help with ********* My bank told me this was not a legit thing.Barrett Financial Group

I do feel this may be a scam as your bank instructed you but never involved Barrett Financial Group or its employees as we never had an interaction with you. You may contact your bank to see if there is any option to recover your funds. I was doing a loan mortgage application these people asked for so many paperwork and when it was submitted to ************************** and ******************************** they claim that the application needed more paperwork come to find out when I contacted the loan company there was never any loan in the system PEOPLE STAYAWAY FROM THIS COMPANY they are a scamming people out there and it's not right at all that people work so hard for their money and ready to have a home for your family just to be told that there was never a loan. I went in for a simple HELOC and was approved, went through the entire underwriting process only to be told just days before funding that the way our income was categorized between my wife and I was not going to work. We work together and some years the income goes to her and sometimes to me. *****************, the loan originator, could have explained this to me beforehand and would have been an easy fix on my end, but his lack of knowledge of the process and poor communication cost me a lot of time and a hard inquiry on my credit report. Then to make matters worse, I was informed of all this by the manager *********************** who was insulting and rude. I would urge anybody reading this to stay clear of Barrett Financial. 1 starBeware!! If i could give zero stars i would. They are a brokerage firm so they are the middle man.Our lender **** was horrible he did not fight to close our deal in a timely manner. His poor judgment and lack of loan knowledge made our journey 10times worse. He fail to escalate issues when they occurred with underwriting, messed up our final closing paperwork, almost cost us our house and NEVER had the answers to any our we had. Our realtor had to jump in a navigate the situation i wouldnt recommend this company to ANY of my friend or family.. My best advice would be to stay away from Barrett financial brokerage they are lazy and will cost you your home due to broken promises and not closing on time.
