I purchased a new Kia *** last month, and its AC system started malfunctioning on Monday, July 8th, and stopped working entirely by Tuesday, July 9th. I contacted *********************** on Wednesday, July 10th, and my car was delivered to Martin Swanty Kia in *******, ****** service agent, ******, informed me the car would be diagnosed by Thursday, July 11th, or Friday, July 12th. I requested a loaner vehicle, as my extended warranty covers it, but was told it could only be provided after diagnosis.Despite my patience, by Thursday, I received no updates and learned the diagnosis would be delayed until Friday or possibly Monday. Again, I asked about the loaner car and was denied, with the excuse that none were available. As of today, Wednesday, July 17th, I have been without my car for a week. Martin Swanty Kia has not honored the warranty I paid for, failed to provide a solid diagnosis date, and has been unprofessional in their communication and service. This lack of organization and failure to uphold warranty terms is why I am filing this complaint.

This dealership has a policy that misleads the consumer into believing that their car needs a service when it actually doesnt. Ive had the service light go off twice in 2 years and the 1st time I had only 4300 miles on the car and the 2nd time at 7000 miles. *** warranty manual states service at every 7500 miles but in small print it restates once a year. Synthetic oil doesnt break down in 4300 miles and its my opinion that this is deceptive and misleading information with the intent of getting the vehicle in so they can go on a fishing trip so they can fix or replace a part that isnt working improperly. *** last time I was there I over heard a customer complain about their bill because they werent informed beforehand of the so-call needed repairs and were looking at a $2,000.00 repair bill. This not advising the customer about the work needed and the cost is deceptive business practice in my opinion. ***y need to be investigated !!!!!!!!!
