On the night of 17 August my upstairs air conditioning unit stopped working, the morning of 18 August a claim was filed with the home warranty company. The arranged for a ***************************** to come service the unit on 19 August. They fixed the issue by replacing the capacitor. The unit was not fixed and they came back out on 21 August. Again unit was not properly fixed so they came back out fora third time on Friday 25 August at this time the a/c company said the coil was broke and it would be at least two weeks to get the part to fix the issue. My wife called back the home warranty company and relayed this information and they stated that was unacceptable and would transfer the claim to another a/c company and it would be an emergency claim in which they would have 24 hours to come to the property to inspect the a/c unit. We are currently under another excessive heat warning with highs for the next three days of 114, 115 and 111. I have two small children (18 months and 4 years old) it is not safe for them to be without air conditioning. I am a veteran receiving service connected disability and am in school full time. I do not have the extra income to pay to have a company of my own choosing come out, that is why I have a home warranty plan. The incompetence and inability to properly diagnose and fix the issue has caused my family undue harm and stress.
