      I've been a customer of ****************** for 3 years and I've been paying for the ************ Membership on a monthly basis. Since January of 2024 I've been needing to drop my computer off at their location so it can be serviced, but I've been turned away several times these past 4 months due to staffing issues. I don't wish to pay for these 4 months of membership because I have not received a service even though I have been needing it. I haven't turned on my PC just to avoid possibly damaging it further. I have contacted Data Doctors multiple times regarding the matter with no resolution. I've also asked the issue to be escalated with management yet I have not been contacted back. I'm asking for a refund of $100.00, that's $25.00 per 4 months, because there is no way Data Doctors has provided me with any service when they apparently have no staff.

      We have no record of any attempt of communications at all in 2024 prior to this complaint. Note that the phone number for the store rings to a customer support team that is available during business hours and any communication from our website or email is also monitored by this group. Further, while the store location is closed in San ****** currently, we are able to provide remote support at no cost and onsite service at the member reduced price of $80/hr (normally $130/hr). Your plan also includes unlimited online backup powered by Carbointe which you are currently utilizing and Trend Micro Internet Security which is also licensed to you through the plan.

      We have attempted to call you in reference to this BBB complaint but the call goes to voicemail that is not setup, so we are unable to leave a message. We also attempted contact via text message to the number you provided as we wanted to discuss what the plan includes and try to see if there's a way to get you the help you need or if you want to cancel and lose all the benefits mentioned above.

      After signing a priority recovery of 5-7 working days for a failed hard drive. Data Doctors returned the portion of the recovered drive 17 days later, still charging for the priority rate of 1400.After numerous attempts to contact their corporate offices (without success) I feel that they mis billed me for priority recovery and delivery and would like to be compensated for the 800. priority payment. It is a bait and switch- promising a 5-7 day return to 17 day return, charging the higher amount.
