Worst company in the state of *******! They overcharge for all of their services. Nothing but crooks work at this company. They do NOT care what the customer is going through, it's all about the almighty dollar. Save yourself the headache and go with another vendor! They will force people to sign their contract and then set equipment. They charge daily for each piece of equipment left at your home. Then they add all these b.s. charges to fluff up their estimates. Please go with a Preferred Vendor! The seller may seem nice when they show up, but that's only because they make money on each job they sell.

I hired a plumber to come out and fix some leaks in the garage. As the plumber is doing the repair, he calls Copper State and Copper State comes out and tells me there is water damage in the wall and we need to proceed asap. I never called Copper State, the plumber did. I never knew Copper State was coming until they arrived. I asked for an estimate and they would not give me one. Copper State asked for my home owner's policy number and said they would open a claim with my homeowner's insurance company. Copper State put pressure on me to hire them. I said no. I called my insurance company and they recommended a restoration company. They came out and gave me a quote. They also told me that I had minimal water damage. I ended up hiring them.

After hiring them to repair damages on my home after a huge storm they came and demoed and ghosted me for a month. Turns out the initial project manager was no longer with the company and they let my job slip through the cracks leaving me with nothing but studs in my sons room for weeks. After finally getting the job finished I have had going on 3 months of nothing but TERRIBLE customer service. They have tried getting more and more money out of me even though they were paid everything that was approved by my insurance adjuster. They cant do simple math or properly read a repair estimate from insurance carriers which leads to incorrect invoicing and harassment thinking Im going to pay more out of pocket.

Worst mistake I could have made. I hired a plumber for a clogged sink who called these scam artists. *** **** is a manipulative liar who is out to get people to sign their contract and file fake homeowner insurance claims. I have him on tape stating he knew there was never any water damage but I could get a kitchen remodle out of my insurance company. I canceled thst claim because it was fraudulent after hours of having him in my home convincing my wife we needed it done. Now I got a bill for drying sevices when there was never any water anywhere.

Wow!!! These reviews are incredible! The same thing just happened to be this past week! I had a plumbing company come out as my toilet kept whistling. Plumber accidentally broke the pipe while replacing the water shut-off valve for toilet causing some water to flow behind the drywall as he ran to turn off the main water. Plumber then told me he had to call his sister company to help him, assuring me that there would be no added cost for me as he was the person who broke it. Yep, his sister company is...Copper State! And then throughout the week the repair becomes more and more complicated. First someone cut a 6" by 6" hole behind the toilet so new pipe stopping water can be installed. I believe the plumber did that. The Copper State guy leaves a commercial fan that blows toward my very small bathroom. Two days later 2 guys bring a large humidifier. The Copper State guy returns and together we call my home owners to "mitigate" which he said is just to inquire what they will cover. And so it began....lead testing, asbestos testing (which he claims came out positive). I realized I had 13 people visit last week, with no work done and so called C S and my insurance company and told both I was not having Copper State do any repairs. I'm praying I don't hear from them again. So...from plumber to Copper State to S. Construction ** to some asbestos removal company...luckily we never got to that last company but it became clear that this was getting weirder and weirder. Glad to see all these other reviews and know I'm not alone.

Their incompetence and negligence are matched only by their dishonesty. Same story as most of the reviews below where the plumber who found a leak recommended them and they thought they could run all their made-up charges through the insurance company. They left the hole from the toilet open (not covered by plastic) allowing raw sewage fumes to fill the house. I told them to get their air scrubber out of my house once I realized what was occurring. They sent a bill with all sorts of fraudulent charges totaling over $2,000.00. The price from Rocky ******** Restoration to actually complete the bathroom demo was less. The comment from the other demo company was, "it's common curtesy to cover raw sewage." How they are in business is absolutely amazing with these business practices.
