    I submitted my cancellation for the extended warranty I purchased on my used *** April 15, 2024. I was told to expect a 6 to 8 week time period before my money would be refunded to me. I followed up with both the dealer and the warranty company. The warranty company told me that the refund check was cut and sent to Beemer Haus May 31, 2024. Even give a week delivery time, it has been 3 weeks since the warranty company sent the check and Beemer Haus is claiming they have not received the check. So somebody is not telling the truth. Unfortunately, looking at previous complaints, this is a theme with Beemer Haus as another customer filed the same exact complaint I am filing now. ****** with Beemer Haus has already told me what the refund is, and I feel she wouldn't know that without having gotten that information from the warranty company. It has now been 10 weeks and still nothing from Beemer Haus.

    I am sorry that is taking too long to get your refund. I assure you that Beemer Haus has no interest in keeping your check money. As of today, we still have not received your check. WE called the Warranty *** and told asked him for the reason this is taking too long. He is looking into it. But whoever told you that the check was mailed on on May 31 is just not true. we still don't have it. I have my team working on this to figure out why we haven't received your refund. We will call you the day it arrives and can show you a copy of the check and the date on it. again, I apologize for the inconvenience but it is really no on our end.

    Hello,

    Beemer Haus says one thing, the warranty company says another, and I still have no resolution after 10 weeks. Who am I to believe? Even if they are processing refunds slowly, that is an exorbitant amount of time. I would like to get on a call with both the dealership and the warranty company at the same time to get this resolved. When they are selling this stuff, they get their money immediately. When it's time to refund, months can go by and no recourse!! 

    I cannot close this complaint out until I get my resolution, which is a refund of the balance on the portion of unused warranty.

    I have been in contact with Freedom Warranty directly and also with ****** from Beemer Haus, who has been incredibly helpful. I talked to both parties on Monday, June 24th. The check was cut by Freedom Warranty on May 31st, BUT it has since been discovered that the batch of refund checks that Freedom sent out on the 31st never were received by a number of dealerships. At this point, based on the conversation I had with ******, they were working on getting the original checks cancelled and re-issued. I have not heard any updates since then. At this point, I am waiting on hearing back on when those re-issued checks are going to be cut and sent, but have not received word back yet.

    So, I am keeping this complaint open until I have received my refund check. It does appear that there was some issue with the checks from Freedom BUT i would be remiss if I did not comment that the initial response from Beemer Haus said that they talked to their contact and that the check had not been cut yet. It had been cut, on the 31st. So the initial response was false. I would also ask that there be some understanding  from the business that if they put themselves in my position, how they would feel. If it were their money (thousands of dollars), and they were going on 3 months of getting their funds back, how they would feel. I understand that the issue is being caused by the warranty company, but as the mediate party in this transaction, some understanding and truth in helping get this resolved would be appreciated. I'm sure it's frustrating for Beemer Haus, but it is also frustrating for me.

    As soon as Beemer Haus calls me and I have my refund, I will be more than happy to close this complaint out.

    This dealership is full of crap! I asked them to cancel my warrenty and I am Owed the remainder of my warrenty balance and its been a issue getting my money back! The company the claim the have to wait on already canceled the policy and cashed them out. They will not write me my check! The owners wife who is in charge of this is lazy and does not ever do her job! Shes never in office, never emails back and always tells you what you wanna hear to send you off! Worse company to buy from ! Ill never advise anybody to buy from them!

    The customer was informed about the process of canceling the warranty and getting a refund. 

    The warranty was cancelled and we are waiting on the funds from the warranty company for disbursement.

    I understand that people get impatient when it comes to receiving money back. however we have to follow to company policy.

    we have been in contact with this customer and the process was explained to him. It's just a matter of time for him to get his refund.
