We got a bill from Perfect Teeth at the end of January for my son, ******'s, filling at the end of November 2023. It said we owed $56 for my son's filling. Insurance covers fillings at 100%. The bill showed a sub**** from the main **** for the portion they were billing, which is why it was denied--it is not an official *** **** and should not be used. Insurance said the office needed to call them to sort this out. I called the office. And again 2 weeks later. And again after receiving another bill. Plus there were times I called when ilI got no answer, nor a message system; sometimes I got the call center who called the office and was told they were not taking calls about bills that day. Each time I explained the situation and was told they would reach out to insurance and get back to me. They never did, and it is now 4 months later. I have even sent bills back with a note that I had been trying to talk to the office about it but no one was calling me back. They had said some insurance doesn't pay for the filling ****, but ours does, unless you're talking about their own personal made up sub****, which is not on the *** official ****s and is not something they should be using.Initial Complaint

Acc no:92234526 Office number: OLI Pt: *********************************** 9/18/23 I took my mother (age 82) to Perfect Teeth (PT) ******* in ******** ** for a consult since she was having pain in her gums. Upon examination the Dentist insisted that the only course of action was full extraction and dentures. She was upset with the diagnosis but since she was in pain decided to do the necessary, make the denture molds.PT wanted payment of $3622 which was paid that morning by credit card before the mold paste was prepared. She was very emotional and was crying as they prepared to put the paste in her mouth that she decided that she did not want to continue, she did not want dentures and wanted to go home.I requested an immediate refund of the $3622, since my mother did not want the dentures and no procedure was done and no mold was made. But the staff said that they did not know how to process a refund and that a refund would be issued by the next day. No refund was received. *********** branch eventually closed. The case was transferred to the Olive branch and the Manager, ************************* took over the case. He assured me that a refund would be issued but after nearly a month of no refund, we contacted our bank requesting the funds to be recovered. The bank was successful.11/15/23 we received the first bill from PT requesting payment of $3622, we have since received multiple bills. PT is billing for the refunded amount. An amount for no service rendered. This is predatory billing for services that were never rendered. This account should be closed.Several attempts by phone and mail were made to their billing department but were not successful, the contact number given is out of service.attachments: Account ledger, payment ledger, Letter of Resolution, Bill, Perfect Teeth office communication.Initial Complaint

I had a dental appointment 9/7/23 for a cleaning with the hygienist, ********. She recommended Gum X during my visit. She never discussed the cost, but told me the Office Manager worked with clients to make it affordable. I thought it was odd ******** pulled the information on the computer even without prior discussion with me. My impression was taken and when I went to the front desk to pay for the cleaning, I was being charged a little over $400. The Office Manager, *****, was at the front desk. I asked why it was so much as I was not expecting to pay this amount. The lady at the front desk started asking questions and entering info in the computer and then she asked for my social security number. I told her I was not going to provide that and she then informed me she was applying for a credit card for me without even asking if I was interested. I told her I was not going to apply for a credit card. ***** then stepped in and stated he would go ahead and bill the insurance and would then bill me for the Gum X. ***** never once told me what the price was either. I assumed it would be around $200, since I had paid $179.00 for the cleaning. Weeks later, I received a call stating the Gum X was in and I was responsible for $1087.00. I informed the lady that was too much money. On 10/30/23, I called ***** and left a message. ***** returned my call the following day stating the insurance did not pay for the Gum X. ***** stated he would discuss this with the billing **** to see if I could only pay the lab fees since the impression had been done already. On 11/3, ***** called me back stating he wanted me to tell him what happened once again as he needed to email the billing ****. I reached out to ***** on 11/7 as I had not heard back. ***** stated he did not have any information but estimating lab fees around $320.00. On 11/9, ***** called me back stating ******** was working on completing something that was being requested and would call me back. After not hearing back from ***** for days, I called 11/28, 12/4, 12/5, 12/6, 12/7 until he finally took my call on 12/7. ***** stated I would be responsible for $767.00 for the impression. This amount is too high. The office staff never informed me of the cost. When I asked, I was told the office manager would work with me and they would bill the insurance. Again, I assumed it would cost around $200.00. I think they were negligent for not informing me from the start of all the possible fees.Initial Complaint

I went to this office twice, for tooth pain and this office performed 2 fillings. Since the beginning, they lied to me by telling me that they accepted my insurance and were in the network. I made sure to ask this, because I didnt want to receive a bill. Then after receiving their services, I started receiving bills. When I approached them about the bills, they said they would find out why I was getting bills. ***** told me not to worry about it that he would take care of getting issue resolved. This issue went on for months. He told me I already paid was I was supposed to pay which was my copay. He continued to give me the run around, while I continued getting bills. He would say that this wasnt my problem, that it was their problem to deal with since I already did my part so I kept believing them and time passed by. They eventually stopped answering my calls to their office. I even started going in person, since they stopped answering my calls, and each time I went they would tell me they were looking into it, but nothing happened. One time, they had me waiting in the office for like 30 minutes, before they even decided to talk to me. Im just tired of being given the run around, with no help. Ive read reviews on ******* and it appears like it has happened before to other people. This office just want to take peoples money.Initial Complaint

I am completely disappointed! My daughters ortho treatment was utterly disregarded. Under the care of *********** the office was responsive and provided good care. My daughters appointment was canceled out of the blue, claiming *********** will be out for an unknown about of time, and then I never heard from the office. She was last seen May 31, 2022. I phoned to schedule her follow up as now its 10 months since she was last seen. She was scheduled. The day before the appointment I receive a call advising I need to reschedule as the day they scheduled my daughter's ortho appt there is no ortho doctor in the office. I make another appointment for 3/18/23. I arrived on time and had a short wait to be brought back into the room. The retainer that was supposed to have been made 6 months prior is not to be located. The tech took OVER 10 impressions, by no fault of my daughter, to send out for now another retainer. Fast forward to today, 5/8/23, I have not heard from the office and I have called NUMEROUS times to follow up and receive the retainer. There has been NO COMMUNICATION from this office. I have photos of the rooms during her appointment and they are FILTHY! THIS IS COMPLETEY UNACCEPTABLE!!! UNPROFESSIONAL! I DEMAND A REIMBURESMENT FOR THE RETAINER! Dates called, I either left a message, spoke to the call center, and phoned the ***************************** office: 4/22/23, 4/24/23, 4/25/23, 4/27/23, 5/2/23, 5/5/23Initial Complaint

I started a five year Invisalign contract with Perfect Teeth in February 2020 for $4,000. The orthodontist said I was done in April 2022, but changed his mind 3 months later in July 2022. He said I needed to continue treatment but this wouldnt cost anything extra since I was still under my contract. Sometime over summer 2022, the company was bought out by Western Dental. I was told for over 7 months that I needed to wait for their new orthodontist to start to be able to complete my treatment. I later found out on the news they are not even contracted with Invisalign anymore. I dont know why they never told us and just strung us all along. Over five different dentists or orthodontists have said I definitely need more treatment over the last year. This company is saying I am done. They dont seem to know very much about teeth, Invisalign contracts, or business acquisitions. They just refuse to refund me so that I can go somewhere else because they care more about profits more than patients. They dont even care that the way my bite was left is causing severe damage to other teeth. I am just one over over 100 people going through the same thing with this company. I hope the ** dental board thoroughly investigates them and whatever scam they are running with their orthodontic services. *** already tried to resolve this with them and have gotten nowhere so I will be taking legal action.Initial Complaint

We have paid over $2000 to Perfect Teeth for orthodontic work for my daughter. About 9 months ago, my daughter was ready to get her braces off. For 9 months we have not been able to get her braces off due to a long stream of appointment cancellations (by Perfect Teeth), doctor no shows, and not having a Dr (orthodontist) on staff for months/weeks at a time. We have lost faith in their ability to finish the job and want a refund to cover the cost of having to seek out a new orthodontist to have the braces removed.Initial Complaint

I purchased invisiline through perfect teeth olive and at the time ***************** was the orthodontist. He quit and perfect teeth was in the process of hiring a new orthodontist. They hired a new orthodontist that wasn't licensed by invisiline. When the new hire received his licensing he quit. There is no orthodontist and all invisiline patients are stuck in limbo. I am finished but need to have the buttons removed from my teeth and get scanned for my retainer. I also have periodontal disease and the coverage of my gums by the invisiline is a detriment. I want Perfect Teeth to pay to send me to a licensed invisiline orthodontist so I can finish my treatment.Initial Complaint

Our issue started around September 2022 when the orthodontist ************ left Perfect Teeth Olive. They have not been able to schedule consecutive appointments for my family, at first we understood that things happened and we waited for them to hire a new Orthodontist, unfortunately, we are now approaching April and my family has maybe been seen by a fill in orthodontist three or maybe four times in the last seven months. We have asked for them to refer us to another orthodontist and they have not gotten back to me. Every time I have called to request to speak to a manager he/she is not available, I also asked for a Corporate number and this too was denied. My dental insurance is DMO therefore, I cannot just go somewhere else if they are not in-network and I dont have a referral letter. I dont know what else to do. Also, my daughters dental treatment is fully paid, I have about four-five payments for my sons treatment and my husband started his treatment May 2nd 2022. I am hoping someone from the BBB is able to help me because Perfect Teeth Olive does not seem to concern. I would like a refund so I can take my family elsewhere.
