Please note that *** hospital did not supply the needed medications to assure safe care and/or oversight of ****s medical condition, and this in itself is a priority in hospital care. It is considered an immediate jeopardy if safe care cannot and is not provided. It was NOT provided to my dog at BluePearl yet they took thousands of dollars from me to assure that care. We had to buy and bring medications to the hospital, and the dog sat in f**** and was discharged caked in it that took hours to remove. Please have the hospital reimburse what we paid as this impacted ****'s life dramatically....and they should not get away with such poor care.*** first part to quality and safe care is completed through the admission process and the assurance that the medication and treatment necessary to stabilize or treat a health condition is available. Anytime there is a delay in treatment as result of much needed medication, or the patient/client cannot get out to use the bathroom or urinate/defecate in a sanitary capacity-- it can result in the patient/clients decline or death. This results in an Immediate Jeopardy citation with the DHHS/CMS and hospitals/doctors/clinicians are held accountable for this type of serious safety concern. Not only did the hospital not have medications necessary to stabilize or treat ***** they later called us and made us as the family run around town trying to obtain them and left **** in an unsanitary capacity covered in urine/FECES for hours (she was only there about 10 hrs total!). This is horrifying to us as the family because **** was such a sweet animal.

Around 10:00 at night, a neighbor saw a dog get hit by a car. She picked him up and brought them to me, so we could figure out what to do. Really the only thing to do was take him to an emergency vet and relinquish him, so we went to Blue ****** It appeared that he had a broken rib or something. He wasn't crying or squirming in her arms, but if we put him on the ground, he was obviously uncomfortable. 1 hour later, they posted on their website that they had put him down, with a photo of him already dead, and blood on his face. Unfortunately, the owner found that shortly afterwards and they would have paid for a surgery, had they had the time to catch up to him. It didn't seem to ask that he needed immediate euthanasia, but we're not doctors. However, I can say with certainty that there is no need for such insensitivity even cruel treatment after the euthanasia, posting the photo like that. They could have at least wiped off his face.
