I called for a/c repair, responded quickly, Technician was cordial. so far good . Now the problem I have; I had already diagnosed what was wrong, I even had a/c opened for tech to see that I was correct in describing what was wrong. So all I need was a price to repair. So he calls the shop to discuss, ouch $1600 to solder a hole in line and replace lost free. NO THANKS Now for the bill I was charge for a diagnosis and visual leak search. That is one and the same. no thanks I called to complain ,all I got was hog wash about having to get out his tools to check pressures, This was all lies since he didn't need tool after I already provide him with the unit exposed for evaluation.

Dear ***,You called for service letting us know that you had changed a capacitor yourself before contacting us. Our tech arrived to find one of your ac units disassembled and non-functional. Oil stains at the bottom of the outdoor section indicated a probable refrigerant leak which you were already aware of. The exact location of the leak must be found in order to determine whether the leak is repairable. ************** arrived at your home at 1:57pm and departed at 3:28pm. He spent a significant amount of this time sharing his professional knowledge with you and had in depth discussions about the system with the leak and his recommendations for another system that you declined to have him diagnose (as there would have been an additional charge for that). He also had to repeatedly clarify that we cannot use refrigerant provided by a client, could not perform additional diagnoses at no charge and had provided as much of a discount as he could in order to cover his time. Our invoice requires 3 client signatures: 1 to authorize repairs, 1 to acknowledge completion of repairs, and one for payment authorization. Our prices are very clear and the technician made notes about communicating the costs before continuing with the work. Your system had a leak that had lost all refrigerant and introduced contaminants into the refrigerant cycle. This requires a lengthy procedure to repair correctly and to replace all the lost refrigerant. We understand that the repair estimate was substantial ($1446) and that you did not choose to proceed.When you contacted our office to discuss the matter you used aggressive and inappropriate language with two different coworkers on our team. We compensate our technicians for their time and knowledge. We treat our coworkers with respect. We are not a good fit for the way you want to conduct business.Good luck going forward.Review fromTiina C

I highly recommend Knight A/C to everyone! Easy to set up an appointment, they keep in touch so that if something comes up that they can't make it to do your A/C, they let you know. They also send skilled technicians who have great personalities and can explain what your A/C is doing. They also don't talk you into buying a whole new unit when it's just something simple to fix at that time. I like their honesty.Knight Air Conditioning Inc

I had requested service for a noisy handler, unfortunately my ac completely stopped working the night before my appointment. I called the answering service around midnight and they attempted to move things around so I could be seen sooner. It was a last minute change so I wasn't upset when I had to keep my original time. **** took a look at my handler and immediately gave a diagnosis, a different (and correct) one, unlike another company which was out recently. **** was polite, broke everything down for me, ordered a new part, and arrived back promptly the same day to complete the repairs, all in awful heat. I will absolutely utilize their services again as well as refer them to friends and family.Knight Air Conditioning Inc
