    We shopped 4 installers to replace our 26-year-old Trane heat pump. Reliance was the only one offering an **** SEER Bosch unit. Many promises were made that I do not have in writing. The salesman, *********************** assured us that a 3 ton unit would do while others were pushing 4 ton units. The house is small. **** Sq ft. excluding the added room which is cooled by a window unit. All of that made sense even though Day&Night suggested major changes to the ducting for the former one car garage that is now a suite. In brief, the Bosch unit from Reliance is entirely inadequate. We paid 10K cash and what we got is a unit and wireless thermostat that will not cool in our climate. The technician said it was cooling ***** degrees F. That is weak. I have many pictures showing that it will not cool on days as warm as 95 degrees F. Do not by the Bosch unit from these people. Your complaint will be answered with "that's just the way it works."
