  Same-day air was sent by ***, he told me the compressor was not working properly, and needed replacement, but AHS wouldn't pay for coolant and would cost me ******* on an 18 year old heat pump. He proceeded to try and sell me a new HVAC for 14k, and then told *** that there was nothing wrong with my HVAC. So now I'm trying to get a new HVAC on my own because same day air and *** are nothing incompetent companies

  Mrs. ******** I understand we left you options, and you did not agree with the price, but the diagnostic was correct. I would request you please re-consider the 1-star rating as I feel you are using a 1-star to get us to lower our prices that keep us in business, and this is not fair when you have the right to shop around, and no one is forcing you to use us. Please consider and thank you for your time.

  I am deeply disappointed in Same Day Air Repair and I would not recommend them to anyone. This company came to our home to repair our air conditioner. They were sent out to our home by the home warranty company, **********************. We were told by Same Day Air that our blower motor needed to be replaced and that would be covered by AHS. However, the thermostat wire wasn't working, and it also would need to be replaced but wasn't covered by AHS and the cost to replace the wire would be $2312.00. My husband thought this was extremely high, so we obtain an estimate from another company. This company stated the blower motor that was installed was too small and the thermostat wire was cut. Also, since the motor was too small it caused the capacitor to go out as well. This company repaired the air conditioner for $1200, which included the correct size blower motor, a new capacitor, and new thermostat wire.There are other complaints that are similar to ours, and neither American Home Standard or Same Day Air Repair owned this issue.

  SDAR was a great company to work with. Responded to our home when our AC system stopped working the day we called. They installed our new system the next day! Pleasant and knowledgeable technicians and staff.

  AHS sent out Same Day Air Repair to assess why our AC unit's fan was not turning. *** showed up today and my adult daughter said he seemed intoxicated. Nonetheless, he did his assessment and told my daughter and her husband one story about the compressor and the coils, then got on the phone with my husband and I and said that it's definitely the compressor (no mention of the coils) and it will cost $3,500 to replace it and 11 lbs. of R-22 Freon. He said he could come back and fix it tomorrow if we did not use AHS. If we went through AHS, they would have to wait 7-10 days for a refurbished part as AHS only pays for refurbished parts. If we went through AHS it would save us $500 but we would have to wait. The other option was to replace the entire unit for over $12k. I did my research on this company on the BBB site and found several other similar complaints. I didn't trust this guy, so we paid out of pocket to have somebody else come out for a 2nd opinion. This other company was able to fix it immediately with just replacing the capacitor, less than $400 repair.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I called Same Day Air and told them about what happened and also filed a complaint with AHS.

  114 today in *******. AC broke and I was recommended by AHS to use this company. After speaking with rude receptionists, I would change their name to Next Month Air Repair. The receptionist was clueless and seemed like she just woke up. She put me on hold 4 times and then told me she wouldn't take me till the next week or two.Wasted my time and I had to crumble and find another company.

  I have looked into this and want to apologize for the inconvenience, i think we asked you if you had more than one system and you said yes, you have 3 so, we asked if you could wait for service as we were trying to get to people that only have one unit on their homes. Im sorry this upset you and i will talk to my staff about how they sound on the phone.

  well probably the most disconnect company so far. the worst part they are on my ahs home warranty. will not respond to my request to come out to talk about our new hvac system they installed a week ago. we are still having issue after $10,000.00 later. they came to install new system and gone with in 1 1/2 hours later never check anything else out. made $10,000.00 and screwed us. maybe this will encourage you to respond to a call to us. next step news channel.

  I loved that this company went above and beyond and helped us get the ** working again. And we had them come and we were getting house ready for sale. They helped by when they left they put down the blinds and made sure they cleaned up the mess that happens from going up and down from the attic. And when we had a small issue they set up a quick appointment and came and checked it out and made sure all issues were actually working correctly and they were polite and took great pictures so I could forward them to the realtor for confirmation that it was checked and working correctly. So if you ever need a company they are one that I would Highly recommend using Same Day Ac Repair. LOVE how quick and polite they are....

  I have never had a problem with this company! *******, *******, *******, ****** in the office are all amazing. The technicians have always been thorough and detailed in what they found and how to fix it. Definitely a company to use!

  It took a little over a week to get scheduled for Same day through my warranty American Home Shield.I had two technicians come out. First day was one technician who worked for about 4.5 hours in the heat which I appreciated but he was very hard to talk to because he didnt seem to know how to explain to me what was going on. My husband also came home to meet with him because I had to go to work and what he told him was very confusing and he didnt fix anything. They sent out another guy the next day and I really feel like they were trying to scam me into buying a new ** unit. He told me my reversing valve was stuck and I needed the part but the part would take about a month or longer knowing I didnt want to go that long with having family and dogs in the house. He told me if they get me a new unit they will take **** off. When I told him that the ** was still under manufacture warranty he instantly gave us attitude and when my husband called his friend to see if we could get a part quicker the tech got all mad and went to his vehicle. I have a lot more to say but I read about this company and saw similar ppl saying the same things. I called another company and literally the next day he fixed my two **s. Everything the tech was telling was not true, I didnt need a new ** nor did I need the part he mentioned it was a bad compressor and the new compressor came the next day. He also left behind large amounts of installation that he pulled out and threw in my ********** called AHS and will probably discontinue using them if they keep using companies like this. AHS is compensating a little with some free months of warranty and refund but this was the worst experience my husband and I have seen. I also have video and pictures for proof. I just hope other people dont have to go thru this. Call AJs heating and cooling if you need a good technician he was amazing and so knowledgeable and answered all Of our questions with no attitude.

  Mr. and *****************, We are sorry for this experience and will be talking with the technician that was on your job site to find out more on what happened. Our technicians always call and verify parts with the manufactures, and when we followed up the part he needed was over 4 weeks out. For it to be a bad compressor that means ************** misdiagnosed and we will work on that with them. Nothing was done intentionally the technician was trying to get you AC. We regret it came to this review and hope we can service you better in the future.
