I applied for 2 job position which was Medical collection and medical document agent around Oct 2, 2023. Then they told me that I was selected for next step and after then they made me fill out all electronic paperwork related to my W2, tax, social security number and many other docs they gave me to sign asking about all my detailed personal information. The process was like they were promising you that this is an unorthodox type of background check as they are hiring you. So, I did that as job was promised but after that I didn't see any jobs in the application. When I try to contact them they started giving me vague answers and left me yo voicemails. I am still not able to delete all my personal information even if I requested multiple employees in the company branch. Someone should take action against them as they are just selling your personal data to third party or maybe using it in their own advantage. I want all my data to be removed from the application and website.Business response

Hello, I hope that this complaint will not be posted as she states that our company is selling her personal information. That is absolutely not true. I am sorry that she was not selected for the role/roles. I have use the tools available to remove her information from our system.

So I applied this to this Company on Indeed and it prompt me to the company page. Enter all my info with ssn which I thought was STRANGED. They sent me an email on Sept 27,2023 at 8:43am asking to finish part two. I called the number that was listed. They ask for my DOB and last four of my Ssn an prompt me automated call. I cal back because there was no option clear for HR And could not connect with someone. 4hr later I get a person and they said to **** dont have to finish the application discard my email. I feel I been violated and want my Personal information REMOVED Immediately! That how they find u by DOB and SSNInitial Complaint

I was sent an email making it seem like I was moved to the next step in the hiring process, I completed a EmployBridge Work Opportunity Tax Credit Questionnaire Form with my SSN and all personal information. I would like if that information was taken out of the system. After completing all steps it then showed "no jobs available". Please remove all my personal information from this system. I submitted information to RemX from An Advertisement on Indeed with the impression it was for a job and I contacted the number listed to have my banking and all information removed from their website, due to I believe this company uses deceptive practices and possibly preventing me from other jobs because Im listed as active with their company. I was told by a supervisor that he was not able to do this because he didnt work for that company , only affiliated with it. This company makes it impossible to contact or accept other legit offers of employment. I emailed them and asked to be removed from their website and my information as well because I believe that its all a scam.Business response

I'm so sorry that you have changed your mind. We hire and place thousands of people into new great jobs every month.
I will look into getting your information taken out of the government's Work Opportunity Tax Credit program. Unfortunately, because it is a federal government program and not an Employbridge/RemX program, I do not have access or controls in their database. I may not be able to get it removed. You may have to request the removal directly with the federal **** program.
I can tell you that you we are a successful legitimate company, and we have worked with the **** program for many years, and we've never had an issue with it.

Have reached out to REMX by email to delete the account and all information associated with my email. They have not responded. Other BBB complaints have the same theme as mine: Holding on to one's personal information against their wishes despite attempts to remove it. This behavior is disrespectful at the very least, and I do not wish to have any of my information stored with a business like this.Business response

I am so sorry that you did not receive a response to your request. I assure you that our company takes pride in responding to all of our applicants and employees. We feel terrible that this has occurred.
It appears that you applied for a job that is not being fulfilled through my office (the office affiliated with this BBB profile), however, I was able to find your inactivate profile in our system. Almost all of the information had been removed, and it was already deactivated. I personally removed the rest of your information.
I have been with this company for over 20 years and we have placed thousands of people into new jobs. All intentions are good and all processes are professional. I hope this helps to reassure you.

We have opening under ProLogistix, Select, and ResourceMFG. I believe these openings may be a better fit with your work experience.

I filled out an application for a job posting listed for RemX Staffing on Indeed.com in early June. The job posting was closed/expired shortly after I filled out my application and, after reading all the negative reviews, I became uncomfortable with the company possessing my personal information included in the application I submitted. I called and spoke with a customer service representative and their supervisor who told me that it is impossible to remove my information, by law, for two years, if at all. I read in a previous complaint, similar to my own, the RemX representative stated they would immediately remove the account information of the person filing the complaint.Business response
