11/30/21 a sales rep came to our home and drafted a closet design. We were informed that stacked discounts expired within hours and much pressure was placed to finalize on the spot. We were also told we had 3 days to review the plans and make edits. 12/3 we contacted rep that we were not happy with her design and wanted edits, no return call After a few weeks of back and forth, she edited, wow...conventiently the stacked discounts were still avail for the upgrades & a laundry room design. These discounts or comparable ones are ALWAYS offered so don't be had.Two+ months of back and forth and 20+ pages of email documentation (from the reps other side gig email address), and as of 1/11/22 we still did not have a final design we had signed off on. Our situation is exactly like 100% of the complaints against CbD the past year. We gave in writing our notice of cancellation and requested a full refund of $2252 for a project not finalized. The manager was snide and condescending in her reply, telling us she would only give $1000. If you review their cancellation policy, NO WHERE does it state you forfeit any money for cancellation. All it states is "either party may cancel without penalty of obligation." This pretty much leaves it to the whim of whatever they decide said "penalty of obligation" to be. So much from this business is borderline fraud. The presssured sales tactics revolving around discounts they know full well are always offered, the fact that we were left with no price list/catalog showing first line item costing, being left to the information someone just writes on a piece of paper withot ability to confirm the math, the very poor follow up, the keepign on someones money without their having received any product whatsoever. The advertise "free consultation," and that is all we received since no final design was ever authorized. We have also filed a dispute with our CC company and provide 25+ pages of documentation to them.
