*************** bought out my lease with Subaru in April of 2024. They have been fighting with Subaru to obtain the title ever since. Subaru claims they sent it numerous times but will not provide a tracking number. The ones they have provided show as returned to them. It's a year later and I can't register my car because my bank still has no title from Subaru. I fought this same battle for a duplicate title when they bought the car. Now that my bank owns the car, Subaru hasn't sent over the title and it's been over a year!! So, I cannot register or drive my car because Subaru is useless. Everytime I call they tell me it's sent but can't provide me a tracking number. My bank has nothing and gets nowhere when calling. This is absolutely ridiculous.

I traded in my Forester in May of this year. They still took my June payment, even though the loan had already been satisfied and was no longer listed under my name. They reimbursed me for what they mistakenly withdrew, but have refused to reimburse me for the overdraft fee I incurred when they drafted the payment. The reason I am being denied reimbursement for the overdraft fee is because auto pay can be canceled online-which I did not think I needed to do since the loan was already satisfied. So apparently SMF will simply continue to draft monthly payments for cars people are no longer in possession of.Horrible way to do business and horrible way to treat customers!!

I bought out my lease through Subaru Finance (Chase). Auto loan broker (************) has not been able to get the title transferred over to them for over two years because ***** states that the sales taxes still need to be paid. They also stated that they sent me a check for the sales tax and that I needed to pay it. Multiple calls have been made to try to track down any checks or records to show that a check was sent to me. Keep getting transferred to different departments. When I get someone on the phone to try to clear this up, or get a copy of any records they end up hanging up on me. In addition to this, they have reported the sales tax payment as a charge-off to the credit bureaus which has impacted my credit negatively.

Offered 6.8 interest rate on 11/4. Apparently Subaru offering 2.9 on 11/15. Not aware of change. Was told Subaru only notified day of interest rate change. BULL. Now stuck with high interest. Rate. Would have waited if known. Believe this is lies

I paid for a car that my deceased father had leased. I had a cashiers check made for the buyout amount on September 18th. Check was made to the local dealer ********* Subaru in *********. They wired the payment to Subaru Leasing. Additional paperwork was sent on October 5th.I inquired about the title on October 16th, the local Subaru dealership was told that an additional $24 was needed. The payment was sent. According to Subaru Leasing they received the payment on November 14th and the payment actually posted six days later.I called today to ask if my title was being sent. They said the actual title paperwork is processed overseas and they couldnt answer if or when the title would be sent to me. Its been more than two months since I paid Subaru Leasing the buyout amount I was told, but I havent received my car title and they cant tell me when or if I will.I would like delivery of my title as soon as possible.

***** is not allowing me to pay monthly payment early. I currently have a payment due on 10/28/23 and when I go to pay its only allowing Principal payments. They only allow payments on the due date. Paying earlier saves me on interest. I have attempted to reach customer service and it has gotten nowhere. Also, my last two payments were processed incorrectly.

This company failed to send ANY documentation of load being paid off.Further, no sign of a title from the original state of title (**); presumably due to failure on part of the business.Despite my previous attempts to obtain information from the business, I received only the attached reply. With that information, I have not been able to gain any traction with the *** to get my own title.I have no proof of ownership whatsoever, although it has been paid in full.

This complaint involves a leased vehicle that was involved in a not at fault accident. Accident occurred on 4-29-23. I was not the driver, but my son was the driver. We are both on the lease title. We have continued to pay on the lease in the amount of approximately, $5,796. We have paid more that is required on a monthly basis. The leased vehicle here was declared a total loss by our insurance company. We want to dispose of the vehicle to a salvage yard that our insurance company suggested. I have nade numerous calls to customer service, and the company's total loss ***** trying to clarify what is owed on the vehicle so we could dispose of it. We get different answers from different reps every time we call, and no one returns our call as they promised to do so. We also requested a current lease statement on at least two different occasions and have yet to receive one. We have been told this account requires special handling which was not explained when we asked what that actually means. Many procedures have not been followed as promised. We are trying to negotiate a lease payoff so we can put this matter behind us and dispose of the vehicle properly. The vehicle has not been driven for safety reasons since the accident date. Many of the reps we have spoken to have been unhelpful and rather rude at times. Please help us resolve this important matter, that we have been unable to do so. Our current account number is **********. Our original account was closed without explanation to us. Not sure why, but that move is questionable, Thank you.

On June 27th, 2023, I purchased my car in full ($14,714.53) from Subaru Motor Finance (SMF), who's bank is ***************** *****. On June 29th, 2023, the full purchase amount was deducted from my account where a representative from SMF confirmed that the payment had been received and that I should expect to receive my vehicles title, 10 business days from the date the payment had been received. This means I should have received the title no later then July 11th, 2023. I did not receive the title on July 11th, 2023, so I called Subaru Motor Finance to confirm if my title had been shipped and when I can expect to receive it. It was during this call, where the customer service rep from SMF explained that it would take an additional 10 business day's before I should expect to receive my title because once SMF gets the title from the corresponding state DMV, they then ship the title to their 3rd party vehicle title review & shipping logistics partner (DealerTrack) based out of **********, ****. At which case after DealerTrack conducts their review, they then ship to the vehicle owner via standard ground **** shipping (which does not include a tracking number). So I paid for my car in full on June 27th, 2023, receipt of payment confirmation was received by SMF on June 29th, 2023, I was told that I would receive the title for my vehicle by July 11th, 2023 (10 business days after payment was received), never received my title on July 11th, and was told it would take an additional 10 business days which brings us to an estimated receipt date of July 25th, 2023. I never received my title on July 25th, so I called SMF again, to which they told me they would need to wait 30 calendar days before they could request a duplicate title from the corresponding state **** This means a duplicate request was made on July 28th, 2023. I received a call from SMF on 8/18 confirming they made the request with the **** It's now 8/29/23 and SMF told me it will take 90 days for them to get the title.
