************ *************** Manager After purchasing a car stereo and back up camera online I began having issues with it dropping Android auto. I have been caring for elderly parent's so haven't had much time to drive the truck.. Now that i started driving it i realized it drops Android auto more frequently so I scheduled an appointment to look at it. They claim to have updated my phone and made sure software was correct and I left again. It began doing it again immediately so I tried several times to contact *** in the Clovis store, Several calls and e mails later he calls to set up another apt. explaining it seems to be an issue with that model, Once i took it in *** told me because I didn't purchase the best Buy Warranty I would have to reach out and deal with Pioneer my self and because I was at the end of my warranty period. Also because I didn't but it in store it was an issue..... SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO THESE MORONS THAT IT ALL NEEDS TO BE TREATED THE SAME WHETHER I BUY IT IN STORE OR ONLINE! WHETHER IT IS 1 DAY AFTER THE WARRANTY OR 1 DAY BEFORE THE WARRANTY IT NEED TO BE ADDRESSED! AND WE DO NOT NEED TO BE STRONG ARMED TO BUY A BEST BUY WARRENTY FOR THEM TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT A ISSUE WITH THE PRODUCT THEY SELL!!!!!************* THE STORE MANAGER TOLD ME HE WAS STOPING ME FROM EVER GETTING ANYTHING DONE ABOUT IT! Bought an **** Predator gaming laptop from Best Buy in ***** ***** in December of 2023. SNID number ***********. In May of 2024, it developed a problem with the external microphone not working. It was sent in to best buy Geek Squad and after about 2 weeks it was returned not fixed. It was sent back for trip number 2 and again after about 2 weeks it was returned still not fixed. It was sent back again for trip number 3. This time it was returned working properly. However, after getting it home, the laptop decided to do an update. The update failed and somehow corrupted the ****** The laptop was returned to Best Buy Geek Squad the same day that I got it home from trip number 3. They sent it back to repair center for trip number 4 where they decided to replace the mother board and hard drive. So far all this has been under manufacturer warranty. Received the laptop again after about 2 weeks only to find out the geek squad repair center had not loaded any of the drivers for the laptop. After the local (*************) store tech loaded all the drivers I took the laptop home. Only again to find out that the windows operating system was not activated and some of the features would not work. After talking with the Manufacturer, they informed me the unit would have to be sent back to either the manufacturer or Best Buy Geek Squad for a 5th trip to correct the problem. At what point do a I get a new computer that actually works?Initial Complaint

So on June 15th 2024 I call in to Best Buy to replace a toy ********* switch) for my son. After purchasing a $180 protection plan that I was talked into buying the year prior because it covers everything and I dont have to pay anything else but the $180 for 2 yrs making the total purchase about $550. **** today I was told that ************************************************************************************ to their program. But you must pay the $180 again. And a fee so I am essentially repurchasing the entire set again. Nope. I am extremely close to calling my bank and filing a fraud claim why DO THIS TO YOUR CUSTOMERS FULL OF LIES!!!! I want my money back!! Or I want my sons toy ********* replaced) Such a disgrace and disappointment. I shouldve known it was Best Buy.Initial Complaint

I bought a keyboard and mouse for my computer. There is missing parts in this purchase. Also, it is frustrating that I went to my previous purchases to see the size of the ** that I bought last year and it is not in my history. I told the manager there that when the cashier scans the product first and then enters in my phone number that the purchase never shows up. He argued with me and told me that is not true. I told him you have to enter my phone number first and then scan the product to buy. They did not listen and now my ** is not seen in the system and I have a warranty on it. I am very frustrated that this Best Buy does not listen and help out and now I bought a product that has missing parts. Very frustrating when the manager is arguing with customers and does not take time to listen.Initial Complaint

************************* made a purchased from Best Buy on eighth of February. I bought several items! With my Best Buy card out of the kindness of my heart I bought a family who needed phone a iPhone 14+ black 128 gig Unfortunately, the family wasnt home that day!This company called roadi happen to be the delivery partner for these items!As you could see, in the images they delivered the iPhone to the wrong address! The merchants dont have a brown door, the doors more lighter so in the picture you will you see a more beige background thats the correct place! Even the Best Buy representatives agreed that is not a match! Best Buy just doesnt want to cooperate. It seems they claim they sent the the item but it was I never received .! I feel badly for the family because the phone is lost and Best Buy doesnt want to take an accountability! When I contacted Roadi they claimed the case is closed to speak to Best Buy when I contacted Best Buy they said is the item was delivered. It was not delivered to the correct address. The recipients who gave the phone to dont have a door is in the pictures! Another thing thats disturbing I have insurance, and Best Buy has not yet detached it from this item and thats not fair ! This case has caused me anxiety, and Best Buy doesnt seem to care!Initial Complaint

On 11/10/23 I placed an order for a Canon - Powershot G7 X *********** Camera for $629.99 through Best Buy online (Order number BBY01 ************). On 11/15/23 I got a notification that my camera was delivered to my address listed above (**************************************************************). I was excited about my package and was home all day, and there was no package delivered to my door, mailbox, or any of my neighbors apartments. I look online, and ***** showed a photo of where the package was delivered, which was NOT my house. I checked to ensure my address was correct, it was. I do not recognize the house it was delivered at and the photo was blurry and had a finger blocking some of it. I went online to track my order and find more information, and nothing could help. I called a Best Buy store, and they directed me to customer service. I sat on the phone with customer service on 11/15/23 for a long period of time, and they said they could NOT resend the package or give me the option to pick it ** in store. They said they would process a refund in an hour of getting off the phone. I drove around my city for 2 hours trying to look for this package, and I could not find it. I called ***** on 11/15 but no one would answer. I never received an email from Best Buy about a refund or processing one. On 11/16 I called Best Buy again stating I never received a refund or confirmation email it was processed. They said that it would take a couple of days and the ticket processing number was *********. I finally got in contact with ***** and they said they could not help me at all with finding the location where they dropped the package, and to contact Best Buy. I continued to call Best Buy on 11/17 and 11/18. On 11/20 I received an email stating they will NOT provide a refund and to contact law enforcement. I paid almost $700 and NEVER received my package to no fault of my own. They refused to help in any way. I have attached photos of my home, the photo they delivered it to, & emails.Initial Complaint

I am 85 years old and my contact with the outside world, ie. banking, purchases, doctors appts, entertainment etc. are done on my computer. My wife has to drive me to all my appts. So, I purchased a Geek Squad protection plan at $200.00 a year. I have been a member for 20 years and was always happy with the service I got. from their agents. Today Best Buy will only hire Asian Indians and Pakistani agents. Some are not qualified to work on computers. My complaint is that my old computer died and I purchased a new one for $1600.00. Then my printer died and I purchased a new one all from Best Buy. I had troubled getting my new printer to work so I called Best Buy and they told me that I was entitled to free home service to install my new printer. The gentleman they sent to my home destroyed the new printer and disabled the only working printer I had. I took the broken printer back for a full refund and purchased another and could only get home service September the 6th. I got online for help and the agent disabled my new computer and signed off while I was waiting for his comments. My probllem is I now have a new computer that won't work, plus two disabled printers. I need help bad. Thanking you in advance, **************************** I don't have internet service, but my wife does. ************************Initial Complaint
