    i received a letter from my taxpayer advocate on 12/1/23. TAX PERIOD ENDING DEC 31, 2022. prior to that, i received 2 60 day letters. i have done everything in my power to connect with my taxpayer advocate. she is not responsive or respectful but condescending. i have contacted supervisors to get help: ************************** and ms ******* i have not heard from any of these managers in an entire year. there is not follow thru nor accountability with these advocates which is why they can continually not follow up. i have reached out to ***** ******* office. it has been 2 months and i still do not have a remedy. why is there no accountability for these advocates and supervisors??? why is there a taxpayer bill of rights?? I have been on hold for 8 hours a day. when everything was rolled out, we were told no late fees BUT WE'RE STILL GETTING CHARGED FOR LATE FEES

    On March 26, 2023 I filed an amended tax return. By the end of May, I was FINALLY assigned a tax advocate, ************. *** spent almost EVERY DAY for 2 weeks leaving this woman messages, crying, EXPLAINING HOW MY CHILDREN AND I ARE ABOUT TO BE EVICTED WITHOUT HER HELP! And still no response. I called her boss, AND STILL NO RESPONSE FROM EITHER OF THEM! My kids and I will be on the streets in a matter of days. Tax advocates are supposed to HELP. Clearly ************ and her boss Ms. ****** are doing NOTHING but collecting a paycheck instead of HELPING.

    I've been living my life in shambles, stress and anxiety all due to the *** refusing to release my amended tax return for the year of 2020 and not to mention The Taxpayer Advocate Service in ************ ignoring my calls... I have called the *** over 200 times during the past 2 years regarding my 2020 Amended Taxes. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and reach out to The Taxpayer Advocate Service In ************ in February 2022.. My case was assigned to an advocate named Dathen.. Dathen was so unreliable. NOT ONCE CALLED ME during the 60 days she was assigned to my case. So I decided to just close the case with her. A manager then called me named ***************************** and offered me someone that I can work with named ***************************..Well ****** seemed nice in the beginning but as time went by she pulled the same stunt as Dathen. ****** does not answer the phone nor does she update me either regarding my case! So I decided to reach out to my city Congressman. The Taxpayer Advocate Service reports to the taxpayer's Congressman. I do not understand if you are not hear for the people especially the ones who suffers from Financial hardship then just choose another profession.. It's sad you have people that come to work not to work..
