I have sent in a letter of cancelation during the 3 day cancel period by certified mail . I even spoke to the general manager and she told me that she cancelled my account. Today I found out I am still being charged and I have sent multiple emails and calls to this business and they are not responding back for 2 weeks . I'm extremely upset and I feel that this company is very unprofessional. They have committed fraud and have breached the terms of cancellation. I need my account cancelled immediately as stated in my certified letter

I originally signed up for Cycle Bar May 9th, 2023. Their receptionist guaranteed $49 the first month which was accredited for. She continued to ask if I was a students in which I replied yes and she asked which schools we went to so that way she can give us a student discount which was $99 per month following the first month. We disclosed we were students just coming home for two months in which you would be going back to school in August. She then told us that was fine and all we had to do was cancel 30 days before we went back to school She told us that all memberships were $99 a month for students and she would sign us up for the unlimited membership which is typically $169 as it wouldnt make a difference. The following month on **** 9th I was charged $169 and again on **** 12th another $169 dollars As I was told this was a one time payment once a month I was confused by the double payment and why it was $169 instead of $99. I called multiple times with no answer when I finally went in they claimed they needed a student ID on file to get the discount even though the original receptionist claimed telling her our schools was substantial and we were setup for the student discount. They told me to contact the manger so after several emails and calls from my friend and I for her to correct the mistakes no reply. So I filed a dispute with my bank. $49 dollars being the month of May and $99 for the month of **** was paid. I finally went in to cancel as I left for school pretty soon. I cancelled **** 10th to finish July 10th. They said my cancellation was all set and I no longer would be charged. Due to the disputes they can no longer charge my card rather place it onto my account. They have placed several more full charges and late fee charges to my card that arent correct as I have not cycled since early ****. The receptionist 7/11 @4:30 sent an unauthorized photo of my financial statement to a friend. I received it as it claimed they were going to ruin my credit.

CycleBar a true mirage they rope you in Ill give them that. I signed up for a membership for 8 rides a month, I eventually stopped using the rides and wanted to cancel so following the instructions when I signed up I went down to the studio to cancel in person. I go through the process with ****** at the front desk and am told one more payment will be charged but I will have rides through the end of next month. Seemed simple enough. On my drive home I receive a call from ****** saying actually I couldnt cancel and that I would still be charged. Im stunned and confused because I was in person you had all my info in front of you and you let me go thinking I was finished after the last payment. After some back and forth I speak with the manager *******, who was in the lobby when i cancelled, to be told the same thing. I counter with you heard what I was in there for if your coworker wasnt capable of completing a cancellation then as a manager you shouldve come to assist. She then tells me that shes new, how is that my fault? Im then told that I will be contacted by corporate. Do not sign up for a membership they will come up with any reason to not let you cancel. The bikes didnt work half of the time and the training of the staff is abysmal. Ive gone as far as to reach out to corporate only to run into basically the same issue. No one can get back to me about my account being cancelled but they still will harass you with collector calls and texts about late fees.

I started a membership Sep 29th and moved back shortly after suddenly to SD. They requested I mail a cancellation letter twice which I did and they claimed they never got both times. There is also a phone record from early dec where I talked about trying to cancel. They have been contacting me via email, text, and phone multiple times a day even after I requested they stop contacting and unsubscribed from their emails. They have been harrasing me for payment and when they called the other day I said I would pay $300 of the $500 some they claimed I owed as they have still been charging me for a membership even though Ive tried cancelling multiple times. I said I would pay $300 which was kind of in the middle as long as they stopped contacting me and finally cancelled the membership. They agreed, charged my card, and when I asked for a confirmation of the cancelation of my membership said my account was still active and I would be charged next month for the membership they wont let me cancel.
