On 1/11/2023 a quantity of 16 LED Lamps was ordered by Sandstone *************** with the salesperson at City Lights *** by the name of ************ The order was paid in full at the time of ordering. ******************* with Sandstone requested the lamps be shipped directly to the ***************** which **** W verbally confirmed. The charge for freight-in is $24.44. After waiting an inordinate amount of time, Sandstone contacted City Lights and for the second time, requested delivery, which was verbally promised by ************ The lamps were delivered to the City Lights store instead of the Sandstone address as agreed. On Feb 8th the lamps were still not delivered to the ***************** Sandstone was left with no choice but to take time to pick up the order; was required to pay $24.44 (freight-in), and did so. Afterward, Sandstone called City Lights *** and spoke to ********** who stated "we cannot refund the freight-in but let me talk to my manager and see what we can do". The "manager", who refused to identify himself, simply repeated what was previously stated, continued to speak over the Sandstone business owner, and rudely disconnected the call. Sandstone attempted to call back multiple times, only to continue to be disconnected. City Lights *** displayed incredible unprofessionalism and did not follow through with their commitment of integrity or customer satisfaction. Sandstone feels it is a reasonable request to refund the freight-in charge since the promised delivery service was not fulfilled and Sandstone had to make the effort to pick up the order.
